it's not that it was that tough, it's the life style of living in the boondocks... hunting before school and or after school

Hey Bob. We can get a big fing MRAP!
Hot damn thats some cool shiite.
amn. The PTA will have a cow.
No worries just put som big fing red crosses on it.

And paint the word "RESCUE" on each side.

In "Warrior Cop" there was a section when the SWAT teams were first proposed in Los Angeles, and got a sympathetic ear from the chief. He asked what SWAT stood for and was told "Special Weapons Attack Team", and the chif had his own cow. "You cannot call it that!" Not missing a beat, the proponents said, "OK, we'll call it "Special Weapons Aid Team". The chief was happy and gave a dispensation for it to be so.

I imagine we'll see a lot more of these vehicles with "RESCUE" on them, and the rings painted on their gun barrels will be the amount of "rescues" they made (cough).

No worries from me, just thought people commenting on the later thread might want to see how the conversation developed in the earlier one. Lots of interesting perspectives.

“We recognize the public concern over perceived ‘militarization of law enforcement,’ but nothing could be further from the truth for School Police,” Capt. Joe Florentino said in an email.

Well, then I guess we have nothing to worry about -- unless his emails suddenly disappear...
