I am more concerned about the firing of a whole bunch of CDC infectious disease researchers just before all these stories of disease ridden immigrants hit the news.

The lax lab procedures probably have nothing to do with odd viruses going around. The labs are notorious for safety violations.
I know they don’t have air conditioning, but window air conditioners can be brought in, and if needed generators to run them, from other countries.
I was just trying to brain storm how to make it possible for the docs to be able to have better protection, and be able to work better to contain the virus.
Liberia is dirt poor and only recently had a terrible civil war. So buying a few hundred generators simply costs too much.
and reality check: they would quickly be stolen.
E 68 isn’t new. We get cases here (Iowa Quad Cities) every summer like clock work. People going back to Mexico to visit relatives or coming back from vacation.
My daughter’s preschool has it at least once a year.
