Hillary isn’t popular anymore, and the campaign hasn’t even begun

It seems like a lifetime ago that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s favorability ratings were something that would inspire fits of jealousy in any politician. In fact, Clinton’s monumental popularity was not a feature of the distant past. As recently as January, a Gallup poll showed that the former secretary had a net favorability rating with the public of 19 points.

Not even a year later, that public esteem for Clinton has disappeared. The latest NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll found that the public is essentially split on whether Clinton is “likeable enough.” 43 percent of respondents said that they had a favorable opinion of Clinton while 41 percent said the opposite. That’s a staggering decline in favorability in NBC/WSJ’s polling from as recently as the winter of 2013 when 56 percent of the public said they regarded Clinton highly while only 25 percent disagreed.

Capture

Among those who have a positive view of Clinton, 21 considered it a “very positive” view while another 22 percent said it was only a “somewhat” positive opinion. Meanwhile, among those who hold a negative view of the former secretary, 26 percent said it was a “very negative” view while only 15 percent were lukewarm on their distaste for the likely Democratic presidential standard-bearer.

“The numbers suggest Americans are far less charitable about Ms. Clinton when she is seeking office or, in this case, merely considering it than they are about other politicians who retire from public office,” The Journal noted.

They cite the fact that both former Presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush have seen an improvement in their favorability ratings since leaving office.

Hillary is a walking billboard of Obama’s FAILED presidency. This could be a huge problem for her in 2016. America will be ready to move FORWARD, away from that stigma. Oh wait, I think I hear a pack of illegals coming to argue with me!

Even the fawning press would have a hard time saying “The lovely Hillary” without throwing up a little bit.

I’ve said ever since the buzz began a year or two ago that Hillary is to the left what Sarah is to the right. Neither is electable.

I think Hillary is electable. The press can get anybody elected. I think the 'rats will come out for her if she gets the nod. However, I think the 'rats and the press would quickly jump on the bandwagon of anybody they see as viable, as they did with Hussein.

For some reason, females love her.

Reminds me of my college days long ago, when offered a blind date, and the offerer added, “All the girls love her.”

A dog for sure, run for the hills!

Hillary is too old, too fugly, and carries the Clinton brand/badge. May I suggest, Wendy Davis, the Texas liberal governor candidate, as the her new replacement.

Please take her, she is not burdened with the Hillary image, and besides what difference does it make. She going to have some free time after the gubernatorial election in Texas. /s

Elizabeth Warren will be the new poster child for how gullible the typical single female voter (and illegals) is.

Herself, Madame Benghazi, the Cold & Joyless, is not only old, she is probably quite ill with serious neurological complications, and perhaps the onset of some form of dementia.

But still leading the field, if you are to give any credence whatsoever to the MSM.

Which means, the chances for Herself fall somewhere between fat, slim, and none at all.

I’d like to see Joe Bite Me (and his shotgun) to run for President with the blue-eyed Indian with the high cheekbones from Harvard as VP.

I would not be hoping for a Liz Warren run, and would certainly not make light of it.

The country in my view is just all sorts of ready for a scorched earth economic populist. She could easily get elected, fake Indian or not, by telling folks what they want to hear.

Had she not botched her 2008 campaign so badly back in 2008, she could have clear sailing to be President back then. But now, not only the various scandals, but the fact she'll be 69 just one month before the President election in 2016 will become a hot issue.

The thing about the Democrats is they're all waiting for one of the Castro brothers from Texas to be their 2020 candidate....
