He may be an American but he is not of America. When American boys his age were absorbing their heritage - learning about baseball, Huck Finn, etc - he was living in Indonesia, studying in a moslem madrassa. Eight years into his regency his provenance is still questionable.

To nontotalitarians who are aware I think there is no longer any question. And even the Communists understand. The two great totalitarian ideologies in the world, Islam and Communism, are quite compatible and the partisans of each think they will collaborate in creating the Total World State and each believes it will then turn on and destroy the other.

He did not set foot on the mainland of America till he was 18 years old. He did not have the same all American upbringing that we did of that generation. He hates America, same as his mentors, mother, grandparents, Frank Marshall Davis, Bill Ayers, Bernadine Dohrn and his “God Damn America” preacher who married him and baptized his girls, yet he never heard a word he said while attending “church”.
