A SWAT team raided co-owner Joe Palumbo's Albion Gun Shop without a warrant. They were acting on orders from the Narcotics Enforcement Unit, who asked the shop to hand over a customer list so they could determine how many people had purchased New York SAFE Act compliant rifles. The gun owner was forced to present approximately 170 sales records. Under the state's anti-gun law, this intrusion was completely legal.

Yep. Because those of us who understand the Constitution do nothing about it.

Just what law passed lately has benefitted “Law Abiding Citizens?”
Every law of late has the intent to control and subjugate the law abiding. A criminal by definition will NOT be following any law, regardless of it’s intent.

Every last one of them A-holes is fags, all the way up through the command.

Not that there’s anything wrong with that

ALL guns sold since 1968 at Federal Firearm Licensees (FFL's) -- also known as gun stores-- are already registered. The Gun Control Act of 1968 requires Form 4473 to be kept for every transaction until the store closes, at which time the paperwork is to be sent to the ATF.

Which means that each and every FFL dealer in existence today is complicit in the destruction of our 2nd Amendment rights. But hey, they make a lotta dough, right? Who cares if it's in direct opposition to the 2nd Amendment?

How ‘bout some ‘milling parties’...Like minded gang of people pooling their resources and time (over a weekend/two?) to procure (bulk buy) all non-tracked firearms parts/pieces and assisting/training in milling those that would normally be tracked, if bought in whole (EG: The 80% lowers)

NO paperwork, no tracking, useful skills/knowledge and, maybe, cheaper (bulk buys)

Just to clarify: the cops raided a store to find out how many customers had actually complied with the law?

Please correct me if I misread the article.

According to Palumbo, he said he was told that there had been a plan to raid the gun shop with the SWAT Team, but the lead investigator felt it would be best to go in peacefully.

The old man that sold me my first gun told me when I was a child that if it ever came to that, he would burn all his records. He’s long since gone to find his eternal reward but it has come to that apparently. they’re seizing records that they aren’t legally entitled to now.
