There were no orders given to anyone to stand down in Benghazi huh? Not according to these guys who were there on the ground and ready to go within 5 minutes. One says he was ordered to stay right there and "stand down". Once to stay right there, and once to stand down.

The book is called "13 Hours: A Firsthand Account of What Really Happened in Benghazi". Bret Baier interviewed them briefly this evening on Special Report, which appears to be a small portion of a much longer special to air this weekend.

Not trying to be argumentative, but the way he brought it up at the end of the interview in question, I found it appearing as though he was “trying to hit his talking point” before his time was cut off. It seemed a little awkward.
But her hasp that’s the way the guy is.
For something this critical he could have handled it differently.
Not trying to be insulting. Really. I was disappointed when he did it. Perhaps I took it wrong. Wouldn’t be the first time.

You can search on FR for “Benghazi” or “13 Hours” and may find another thread about this video.
The authors have had several other interviews on Fox.
While watching the videos listen carefully to what the authors say about who was hired to “protect” Stevens - a local militia. (Note title of first video).
There is another part of the hot button term “stand down” which is explained in these posts that might be helpful. Stand down in the CIA doesn’t mean the same as in the military apparently. But these posts point out that there was a failure to launch a rescue operation.
