God Bless you Ted, but I’ve no doubt “Maverick” McCain and his “Gang of Eight” would ride to the rescue of the “progressive (Commie)” Bastards.

"EXCLUSIVE: Ted Cruz Predicts Impeachment of Top-Level Obama Official by GOP-Controlled Senate"...I'm sorry, that is wrong and is not what the highly informed lawyer Ted Cruz said.
"Cruz noted that its not likely that Americans will see an impeachment of Barack Obama, but that we may see an impeachment of one of the nations top-criminals and, ironically, one of the top law enforcers: Attorney General Eric Holder."
The House impeaches, the Senate decides to convict or acquit. The Senate does NOT impeach, it acts as the jury, not prosecutor.
On the other hand, I'm glad Cruz is talking about impeaching AG Holder. It's been over 2 years since Congress held Holder in contempt. This has had zero impact on Holder's behavior and typically for Speaker Boehner, there's been zero energy, zero follow through and zero impact. Will Boehner allow impeachment hearings on Holder? [snort] Limp linguini have more spine than the missed name Boehner.

I believe Senator Cruz's point is larger in nature, simply that the weaklings in the GOP have been using the excuse that the Senate was in the Democrats' hands and, as a result, would never convict the President.
By having the Senate in the GOP's hands, it removes this excuse.

Agreed. Ted Cruz is a true Statesman. The corruptness of Washington DC will constantly court Cruz to abandon his principles and make himself wildly rich. However, looking at how quickly Rand Paul switched sides, Ted Cruz remains steady in the face of the Washington DC way of doing things. I wish Mike Lee was my other Senator.

My point is that I don’t believe Ted Cruz said the US Senate would impeach Obama, I believe the media got it wrong. Who is more likely to be correct, Cruz or the Media?
