At the TSA screening in Washington Dulles airport, I saw a Muslim woman passenger being allowed to skip the naked photo booth everyone else had to go through. Instead she was sent through the basic metal detector and then she got a "pat down".

The "pat down" consisted of a TSA officer, also a heard-scarf-wearing Muslim woman, lightly touching the passenger's head and shoulders for abut 2 seconds. That was it. Nothing else. Nothing below the shoulders.

Once I went through the naked photo booth AND got the crotch exploration for no apparent reason (though I suspect it was because I looked pissed off in the photo booth).
