The re-election campaign of U.S. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell has gained momentum in the last month, propelled by huge leads over Democrat Alison Lundergan Grimes in Western and Eastern Kentucky and among men, according to a new Bluegrass Poll.

With less than 10 weeks until Election Day, the poll of 569 likely voters shows McConnell with a 4-point lead over Grimes, up from a 2 point margin a month ago. McConnell now leads Grimes 46 percent to 42 percent...

Your party won lots of primaries, by hook or by crook.

Mostly crook.

That will come back to bite them.

It certainly makes selling "You have to vote pub, where else will you go?" harder for them.

Liberal? That’s milquetoast.

You’re waging war on wimpy, when there are real communists and moslems (plural) running the place.

The RATs haven’t been “liberal” for decades.

No, you'll be sharing a barracks with RINOs in the FEMA camp. That's where you will be able to go.

No thanks. I don't vote for liberals.

Not hardly, hero.

They can only kill me once.

And your rhetoric is way over the top on that.

Seriously? Vote for your liberal R or wind up in a FEMA camp?

You are becoming a parody.

The Kentucky Conservatives will either write in or leave the Senator box blank.

That is EXACTLY what we are doing. McConnell is already toast. In red counties - not a single Mitch sign anywhere. Just Alison signs as far as the eye can see.

Only GOP party hacks are going to vote FOR McConnell. The majority of us who used to vote R - whom McConnell declared war against and vowed to crush wherever we are found, are doing exactly what you imagine, writing-in or leaving the Senate box blank.

And rightfully so.

The world will continue to spin 6 years from now, regardless of who wins.

I wasn't too concerned about that. Just whether or not the US will continue to exist on it.

>> I will keep up my effort at politically destroying liberal republicans all anti-communists so they never, ever win another race. <<

I don't understand why you wouldn't concentrate on taking out the RINO C&C and still have a viable organization and willing voters, instead of destroying any shot at an opposition party.

What, you say you don't think the TEApublicans are capable of running the GOP?

I can get rid of the liberals in the republican party, by making sure they never win again.

That's not possible with the Dems.

Your party is so corrupt with liberals from top to bottom that the only solution is making sure liberal republicans are politically destroyed.

The US will still be here, in spite of your hyperbole.

You guys are like the boy that cried wolf.

You've played the 'disaster if you don't vote for the R' so long that people aren't buying it anymore.

They'd kill us all, thank you very much.

Ever heard of "divide and conquer"? I'd say you haven't.

A 4 point lead isn't something that an incumbent in a leadership position normally brags about.

I figured internal polling must be scaring them pretty badly.

Sure I've heard of divide and conquer. It's what the libs did to your party. And you still demand that people vote for the R.

How does having a senator Grimes help elect conservatives? Here’s a hint. It doesn’t. In fact it hurts conservatives.

It helps by getting a feckless back-stabber out of power.

If you tracked the 2012 Senate races, you would already have seen McConnell's failure of leadership in building a wave to nationalize the Senate races. You are seeing the same things this cycle. Pundits are already asking where the nationalize messaging is. The answer is nowhere, because McConnell only knows how to cower and hide and hope the Democrats mess up more than he does. They don't.

If McConnell were not in the Senate, we would not have seen the racist smearing of Chris McDaniel in Mississippi at McConnell's direction.

Keeping McConnell in the Senate is what will hurt conservatives in the future.

Not one penny, not one second of effort, not one vote...nothing for RINOs. Conservatives are treated by the GOP just like blacks are by the DIMs. No thanks. Never again.

RATs and their party are unashamed Communists. If you help elect them, you are an enemy of the American People.

Ahhhh… finally someone outed the next Ruling Class tactic in demonizing Conservatives.

If you do not vote for the Ruling Class Government Statist - you are an ENEMY OF THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.

It was only a matter of time before fear-mongering turned into raw intimidation by party hacks to force people to abandon any pretense of principle to vote for their failed, liberal Statist Ruling Class Statists whose palms they lick.

This is all just a game for power to them. Screw liberty. It's all about 'winning' power and control over your money.

The US will still be here, in spite of your hyperbole.

Really?

How many mosks in your state? How many (Mexican) ISIS cells are in your state. What city in your state will likely be hit with a dirty bomb or VX gas attack?

Will they hit NYC, Chicago, Los Angeles first...or all at the same time?

There may be states left, but they probably won't be all that "United". Many cities may not survive.

You've played the 'disaster if you don't vote for the R' so long that people aren't buying it anymore.

It's not a matter of "voting for the 'R' " It's a matter of voting for, and creating, a bloc that can turn things around.

If you can't even wrest control of the GOP and their millions of brand-name voters from the wimpy RINOs, then you have absolutely no chance against Soros, the Workers World Party and ISIS.

In fact, it looks like you're unwittingly helping them.
