Prominent celebrities and Congressional Black Caucus leaders endorsed a major nationalization of local police forces in a letter to President Obama.

The only reason ‘celebrities’ want a national police force, with the DOJ as head of that police force, is because they only want to have to bribe one guy.
The FBI seems to be able to find a way to stick their noses in every local crime issue that they want, so effectively we already have a nationalized police force.
Well, we already have the Gaystapo ....
The exact wrong thing to do. Local is better.
I had serious misgivings about voting to eliminate our local 5 man police force but they were an unnecessary expense. I was concerned about what contracting with the county sheriff’s department meant. (Its required by law)
However in this particular situation it hasn’t been bad. We’re in an outlying corner of the county and seldom see the cops out here.
Fine, and when those racist, evil Republicans run Congress and occupy the White House, they can unleash the federal police force to promote their evil, racist agenda.

Oh, what a great idea, we can call it the SSP, secret state police, or just use the old German name, the “Gestapo”. Black Caucus??? Where is the Native American Caucus, the Asian Caucus? The Latin Caucus, the Caucasian caucus? How about a Caucus for every religion too while we’re at it? Is it any wonder why this country is going down hill since the mid 60’s?
