malware?
FR runs a tight ship, doesn’t even have ads. The code is very tight. Just look at the HTML of the page you are reading.

It’s coming from an image linked in a reply. I got the same message, but it wasn’t FR, but the site a linked image was being served from.

Are you running the ‘doze OS, and using the default IE (Internet Explorer) browser? Because I am running Linux and the Opera browser and have seen no such problems.

Which thread? Google may have not liked one of the links or images in it. I didn't see any warnings when I searched for FR on Google and went to FR's pages through it.

I just did a search for “freerepublic” via Google using Firefox and then clicked the link Google provided and there were no warnings or other issues. If Google thinks the site has issues that’s when it would have provided the warnings. Are you sure you don’t have some sort of Trojan or address bar redirector screwing things up?

This is the issue, and a mod should look at it. There is an image embedded in the “WH Responds to Petition to Demand Release of Marine Held in Mexico “ thread from the Buffalo beast wordpress site. Google thinks that blog has been hacked, and malware has been served. Because there is content from buffalo beast being embedded, google is also trying to block access to the FR post so that bad content from Buffalo Beast isn’t loaded.

Doesn’t anybody use anti-virus software anymore ..?? I have Norton .. and I never have any kind of issue while I’m in FR, and I never get malware or any other kind of bug.
Also, when I download ANY type of software .. I always unclick the place where it asks you if you want Google-this or Google-that. I don’t want any of the Google stuff.

saw one and right upper corner ‘x’ clicked. Has not returned but yes was google. Also complained to google about an add posted on youtube tonight. Yep, something is up. Also received a notice my internet service had disconnected and also clicked ‘x’ upper right corner. That one had the appearance of other than google but yes I saw what you described also.

Well, I scraped every piece of Firefox off my system months ago, when they shamelessly fired that new hire at the behest of the militant Gay mafia, for the Thought Crime of expressing sympathy for traditional marriage.
Google is dangerously close to becoming what Americans a century ago called a "trust," and what statutes refer to as an illegal monopoly.

Use Firefox. Get No Script. Block Google. No more malware warnings from them. Use Dogpile to search the web.
