I’m no fan of President Obama.
I didn’t vote for him the first time or the last time.
I’ve publicly condemned Obamacare as well as what I believe are Obama’s failed economic and foreign policies.
That does not give me, you or anyone else the right to trash him or his family. Nor does it give us the right to tell outright lies.
MORE COVERAGE Did Bush or Obama take more vacation? Unfortunately, that’s exactly what has been going on, especially over the past few weeks. Disgusting cheap shots have been taken at both the President and the First Lady.
Starting with President Obama, his detractors – some of whom are fringe theorists “birthers” – have attacked him – falsely and quite ignorantly – of taking more vacation time than his last three two-term predecessors. In a report released over the weekend by the Associated Press, Obama had taken 138 vacation days, compared to 381 for George W. Bush, 174 for Bill Clinton and 349 for Ronald Reagan – all calculated at the same point in their second term. Even adding all of Obama’s and Clinton’s vacation days to date is less than the total spent by either Bush or Reagan.
Yet, the glaring truth hasn’t prevented local Obama critics from going to social media to criticize Obama on this issue – ranging from sarcastic memes to false claims that Obama missed attending a murdered US general’s funeral for a round of golf.

thing is that when GWB went on vaca, he went home to crawford. when obama goes on vaca he hits all the expensive, trendy hotspots - on our dime. it wouldn’t be so bad if he went home, but then again who vacas in chicago?

not vacation days.
Reagan went to his”Western white house over and over where he had a permanent a mini POTUS office set up or Camp david
and of course Bush frequently went to his place in Texas where h also had a POTUS set up and where he met with world leaders frequently.
Not exactly the same things as BO vacationing in Hi or Ma in ultra expensive locations. BO has not met with any world leaders, even the ones who might play golf.
so YES it is fair to criticize that piece of crap BO and his even crappier wife who has raped us taxpayers over and over.
Bush could go home to his ranch in Texas, stay in touch with his staff at the White House and it would be considered vacation because he's chainsawing logs, not giving speeches.
Personally, I'd be happy to see BO take a vacation 360 days per year. Considering what he's done to this nation, his laziness is his only positive quality.
The article is complete and utter BS. Obama is actually on vacation, on the golf course, at the beach etc. Bush and Reagan went to their houses where they still worked while Obama is always going to resorts or rented compounds while we pay the bills. So the idiot author counts days outside the White House as vacation even if they are working remotely but only counts Obama’s actual claimed vacations as vacations. Even so, the traitor in chief doesn’t even come back to the White House for a crisis like Christians being slaughtered and Ukraine.
As to his other point that no one has the right to criticize well Obama is an employee who is not doing his job so of course he can be criticized. His family is stealing from the public with their jaunts so yes, they can be criticized. If they spend their own money then no one would care.

Number of days of vacation for GWB and Reagan are way overstated - because both Obama and Clinton did not have homes which were adequate to serve as vacation WH’s, Both Clinton and Obama use public monies to pay for their vacation homes and entertainment, while both RR and GWB were more frugal in a way, as they did not charge the taxpayers for their vacation.
It is tiring to keep hearing all these false naratives about RR and GWB and their vacation days.
And we all know the answer to that. But I think the real question is who has spent more taxpayer dollars on vacations (and let's not forget to add in all of the rounds of golf).

Yes it would. Like you, I question the writer’s veracity and the numbers he throws out without proof, especially in light of the fact, he leads us to believe Obama was indeed in attendance at the General’s funeral.
He provides a link within the body of the article, which suggests substantiation of his claim. The link provided nothing of the sort... just more commentary from critics regarding Obama golfing instead of attending the funeral.

The disparity in vacation days usually stems from the liberal accounting trick of tallying weekend and week days for Bush and Reagan, while only tabulating week days for Clinton/Obama.
Time to start counting golf balls I think.

I don’t have a problem with him taking vacation.
I have a problem with all presidents and the Congress constantly taking vacations.
They are paid wheel barrows of money, bene’s and perks, yet take 4 times as many vacation days as a typical executive.
6 years of vacations for a typical executive would amount to 60 days of vacation for the same given period and few, if any, PTO’s.
The reasoning for getting out of D.C. in the days before HVAC was to escape the oppressive heat and humidity of an area that was a swamp.
They should be in session and working 22 business days a month like everyone else.
They live like kings, potentates and patriarchs in an age when it is quite comfortable and easy to simply turn the AC or heater to temperature control that makes their work environment quite comfortable.
In regards to Michelle, I think she is actually quite pretty but, her style of attire is atrocious. Never mind that she should also take care to be seen smiling often, when in public and reduce those moments that make her seem she has a scowl.
The real problem with Barry is his constant pandering to a Moslem world that has been, for 1,400 years, out to get the rest of us, subsume the right of the individual to some bat Shiite crazy azz religious dictate.
