New Hampshire Gov. Maggie Hassan has ordered flags to be held at half-staff in honor of slain journalist James Wright Foley on the day of his memorial service.
Foley was beheaded and the video was posted on YouTube by ISIS, who claimed responsibility for the photographer's death.

"James Foley exemplified the best of our journalistic ideals, fearlessly going to some of the world's most dangerous places to expose the horrific consequences of war and the beautiful humanity of those innocent civilians affected by it," wrote Gov. Hassan in a statement.

In related news, President Obama has ordered all 18 flags flown at half staff at the course where he will be golfing and laughing with his buddies today.
Most “journalists” don’t even like America. Why adjust the flag for any of them, unless they’ve served honorably in the military?
Actually I'm flabbergasted that zero the muslin hero hasn't commanded that all American flags be flown at half mast for that poor yute from Ferguson.
I’m sorry for his manner of death and the suffering he had to go through....but wasn’t he a muzzy sympathizer to begin with? To call him heroic is beyond the pale. Being a war reporter is a dangerous job, but he chose it, just like he chose to side with the rebel forces. Live by the sword, die by the sword, I guess.
