Obama is STILL all smiles as he returns to the White House after relaxing in Martha's Vineyard amid ISIS and Ferguson crises Spent two weeks golfing and spending time with his family Critics lambasted the president for images of him on the golf course White House shot back: 'Just because the president is in a different location doesn't mean he's not doing his job' 24 August 2014 President Barack Obama's summer vacation off the Massachusetts coast is nearing an end. The president was due back at the White House late Sunday after spending two weeks with his family on the island of Martha's Vineyard. What a break it turned out to be. His attempt at rest and relaxation was largely overtaken by events involving Islamic State militants in Iraq and Syria, including the videotaped execution of an American journalist they had been holding hostage, and the unrest in Ferguson, Missouri, following the fatal police shooting of an unarmed black man. Golf is traditionally a mans way of getting out of the house for a few hours each week. Vacations are traditionally time for families to do things together. Playing 18 holes of golf every day on vacation doesn’t strike me as family time.

I wonder what they paid him.

The experts tell us that body language speaks louder than words and that famous smile sends a strong message that he isn’t worried about a thing. Controlling the facade, it seems to me is the most important factor in the Obama presidency. After six years we know essentially nothing about the man who is our President. One gets the feeling that he has created his own class and refuses to communicate with others in government in a face to face manner as President’s in the past have done. The success of this isolation is due to our major news media..In the end, truth is our source of protection and the press, by and large, abdicated on that long ago. They loved that famous smile and were willing to do everything to protect the vision rather than to vet the ideas. Now, our nation’s very security is at stake. Any of us who have kept up and who care about the future have very few comfortable days in our lives as we comprehend the state of our nation. Our hope is that God himself will move as more and more people pray about these things.

"Still in shock how a great nation twice elected a community organizer and a one term senator to the highest office in the land."

I still don't believe IT! ! ! ! !

...”Still in shock how a great nation twice elected a community organizer and a one term senator to the highest office in the land.”...

The extreme wealth now conferred upon a US President is obscene on the face of it. Servanthood does not look like that. Reading about how Harry and Bess Truman left the White House in much the same financial condition as when they went in was an eye opening for me. Today’s vision of great personal wealth to be gained obscures any genuine desire a candidate for the Presidency might have to really love and serve his country. It is like winning the lottery over and over again, whether you are a good or bad President. In addition, the accumulation of influence through the office with the extremely wealthy of the world is just too great a temptation for most. No wonder we now have two classes in our country, the wealthy, getting wealthier, and the newly poor, getting poorer. When ISIS takes over the WH, things will change. Too much wealth puts people into a bubble of unreality and that is where our government is today. Give me the wisdom I find when I go deep into the country where people work the land for a living. Those folks know reality and, further more, are smart enough not to desire the pseudo security of the wealth mongers. I would also wager that they are, in the end, much happier in this life than the wealthy for whom pleasure seeking seems to be the reason for living. Stay tuned..Those alive today have a good chance of seeing where all of this will end for America.

I have met people here in soviet Red Hampshire that actually lust for money. They will run over anyone or anything in their pursuit of more cash, even though they are in their seventies and eighties. It's pretty creepy, to be honest.

'Just because the president is in a different location doesn't mean he's not doing his job'

Of course, that was never the case when Bush was president.

It would be interesting to know the value of the endorsement contract with Nike as he accumulates the cash to buy his post white house home.................

I see daughter Malaria there, but where’s Natasha?

Seems neither daughter spent the entire 2 weeks with their alleged parents.

I also noticed the article you posted said nothing about the real reason for the king’s brief return to Washington. They only mention that he delivered a statement, and said nothing about the gala bachelor party.

It’s good to be the king.

What difference does it make?

That's how I look at it. He has done less damage doing nothing than he does doing anything in DC. I'd rather see him golfing than implementing executive amnesty. Same goes for the other 535 self-serving Imps..

"He’s set for life in grand style."

I don't know if that will work To the right he is a moral and intellectual leper. To the lefties, he has become a total embarrassment. I think he will try a Clintonesque type of money making scheme, but after the damage he has done to the DemocRAT party,I don't think he will be successful. In fact, I think he will have to look over his shoulder for the rest of his wretched life.

-—Why should he care that the world is in turmoil and the nation has been trashed under his watch.-—

That was his goal, after all. And he did it while being treated like a king. He’s a happy commie.

Major Garrett broke the story that he returned to D.C. to attend the bachelor party for his friend Sam Kass. Why did Malia return with him and not one word or photo of Sasha this entire trip. She’s a little young to be on her own. Weird family.
