For several years I worked with what Obama would term a “moderate” Muslim. He seemed like the nicest guy in the world. But periodically he’d say things like, “Well, of course he needs to die. Somebody should kill him.” (This was about Salmon Rushdie.) But he said other similar things over the years indicating that killing by anybody who felt the need was okay if they were religiously justified. These were just casual, mater-of-fact observations made in passing.
My mother said, “pay close attention to what people say. They’ll almost always give you a clue about how they’ll treat you if they have the chance. It’s up to you to hear it and believe it.”
This guy came here when he was 15 and he was in his 40’s when I knew him. His kids, from what I observed, had absorbed his culture, but spoke perfect English. Other than a great tan they looked like any other Caucasian.

I never rely on the US communist propaganda machine today, I go to the foreign press, usually the UK press and they blab about everything. The communist propaganda machine stations like NBC, CBS, ABC need to be run out of town, they serve absolutely no good service in this country and helped elected the worst President in US history.

I tell liberals who try to pull that fast one saying that “most Muslims are moderate” to tell me when is the last time they saw or heard about Muslims protesting terror attacks? Any terror attacks? But they will protest US authorities keeping an eye on them pretty quick won’t they.

Outlawing something makes it attractive to about 40% of the people. They just have to support the underdog against “the man.” Don’t make the Jihadists forbidden fruit. The better approach is to show the Jihad and Islam for what it really is. Don’t glamorize it with slick visuals and hyped news music. Just present it as it is. The videos of the beheadings are censored. I think that’s a mistake. The Jihadist videos are the best tool to use against them. The photos they take of their tiny children attending parties dressed in suicide vests should be shown. The videos of them celebrating death need to be aired. Censoring these allows the media to push the motion that they’re just like us and we have to make the extra effort to understand them.
Incidentally, after reading up on the news photographer, Foley, I realize he bought the PC hype. He thought that since he was “down with the cause” that they wouldn’t hurt him. I have to wonder if he reconsidered this toward the end. (Of course, that’s the wrong time to realize you were wrong.)
I've often wondered how different everything would be if George W. Bush had taken the right stand after 9/11 instead of the "we all worship the same God, let's get the Saudi royal family safely out of the US, etc.". We would not have the abomination in the WH today because who would have voted anyone in with the name Hussein?

I agree. I never seek out the American alphabet networks or their kin in the printed press for news. I go to Drudge or FR (as they link to a wide range of sources) or I go direct to foreign media (and you are right, some of the UK sources will publish anything and everything; same for some of the German and some of the other continental sources).
Muslims only protest when muslims are being attacked by non-muslims, as in Gaza.
Otherwise, crickets.

Islam is s a greater threat to civilization than were the NAZIs. In the 1940s we were not PARALYZED by the kind of mindless political correctness which leads us to tolerate ANYTHING non-western.
