A restaurant owner who is under fire for offering a faith-based discount to customers says he doesnt plan to discontinue it, despite receiving a complaint from the Freedom From Religion Foundation, a secular activist group.
Steven Rose, owner of Baileys Pizza in Searcy, Arkansas, told TheBlaze Wednesday that he posted a 10 percent discount on his restaurants Facebook page on July 19 for anyone who brought in a church bulletin. Not long after, he received a comment from a user named Bong Hits for Jesus that read, Good luck on your discrimination lawsuit.
I didnt give much credence to it, he said of the comment, but the story doesnt end there.

Is there a Freedom From Atheism Foundation? Don't the religious have civil rights?
Just print the coupon in the church bulletin, and donate the printing costs for that week to the church.
When are they going after ladies drink free nights?
“MEN: No shoes, no shirt, no service.
WOMEN: No shoes, no shirt, Free Beer.”
Senior Citizens Discount - Age Discrimination.
The list is endless...
Those atheists don’t have to believe in God to get the discount. They just have to go to church like everyone else. It appears that the atheists are looking for special treatment.
WOMEN: No shoes, no shirt, Free Beer.
LOL. That's good. :)
Ok atheists, one more time for those of you who weren't paying attention the first time......In this country you have Freedom OF Religion NOT Freedom FROM Religion.
So, if you don't like it, get the hell out of my country!
I know, not very Christian of me, but I don't care anymore......these people need to go or STFU.
Been done....plenty of times.
Who really cares what that bunch wants, this is still a democracy (or was until odumbo came along). If the pizza shop wants to give all their pizzas to someone who brings in a church bulletin, its none of the “FFRF’s” damn business. They are a infinitestimal MINORITY in the population of this country and it is time to tell to “take a hike”. "Live with it because that's the way it is".
It’s a violation of your civil rights to be charged the normal price because you dont have a coupon?
Why isn’t this much different than using a coupon for a discount? In fact, why not just put a “coupon” in the local church bulletins?
Good grief! Businesses here do that all the time! We would tell them (Atheists) to go pound sand.
Already illegal in Massachusetts
Funny you should say that as I was just thinking the a Freedom From Religion Foundation really has no foundation at all and its house is built on sand.
Matt 7:26 "Everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not act on them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand."
Senior Citizens Discount - Age Discrimination.
Kids under 10 eat Free.
It’s not a matter of civil rights. It is the now forgotten property rights, that is the right of people to own and control their property, in this case the pizzeria and its equipment. It comes down to simple freedom. The owner have the right to do business with whomever they choose on whatever right they choose.
Conservatives need to understand this and stop playing the leftist’s games. We will always lose that one.
Civil Rights are your rights between you and the government. What happens or doesn’t happen between individuals isn’t covered or guaranteed. If you don’t want someone in your store for any reason it’s your right to give them the boot. If you want to negotiate a discount with someone, then nobody else is included in that discount.
Has going someplace else to eat become impossible, or have some people just gotten that retarded?
For the record, I’m an atheist and I’ll happily tell the group where to go and how to get there.
