Are you among those frustrated Americans who have wondered how the Soviet Union's only hostage crisis in Lebanon was resolved in just a month, while the plight of the six U.S. hostages held there continues to drag on without any
break in sight?
Well, according to the Jerusalem Post, the Soviets turned the trick by forgoing diplomacy in favor of a brutally more direct approach to the problem.
Simply put, they presented the kidnappers with chilling proof that terror can cut both ways. Literally!

We should have gone “Full Minbari” on them after 9/11, Boston, etc etc....
If you don’t know what “Full Minbari” means, go watch the babylon 5 Movie “In the Begining”.... The earth makes the mistake of killing the Minbari leader and dang near gets itself wiped off the face of the galaxy...
The Egyptians had a mummy and no idea who he was so they sent it to Russia . Russia sent back the Life History of the mummy after a week . Egyptians asked how did you get all this information , Russians said , “He Confessed”
“This is how the game needs to be played....”
Really by whom?
I doubt that there is one democrat in this country who do the same thing to release a hostage and among our republican side let’s take a look.
1. Chris Christie? nope
2. Rand Paul? nope nope
3. Ted Cruz? I doubt it
4. Perry? Might, probably would
5. Sarah Palin? Probably
6. John McCain? Nope
Oh, you’re right, unfortunately. You’d be hard pressed to find anyone with the wherewithal to support water boarding.
Funny how the moslem cowards when his own tactics are used against him!
I have always thought this is how we should be playing the terror game.
Also, we should be killing the people who fund them, who handle their finances, who arm them, etc.
We shouldn’t hesitate to make the families of terrorists (REAL terrorists, not some guy on the “no fly” list) share the price. Collateral damage should be a plus. If big Mo’ takes little Mo’ out to plant an IED, then we should try to bag both of them.
This incident proves once again that when a people become too civilized to do what’s necessary to survive in an uncivilized world, they probably won’t survive.
If we had a real President instead of the sorry excuse we have, our B-52 bombers would have already deployed to Diego Garcia.
A cowboy, an American Indian, and a muzzie were sitting in an airport lounge waiting for a flight. The Native American says, We were once many but now are few. The muzzie says we were once few but now are many. The cowboy looks him over and with a slow drawl says “That is just because we haven’t begun to play Cowboys and muslims yet”.
Guess who knows better than anyone how to treat these bat*rds?
I remember stories like this in the 80s when folks in Lebanon were being taken, iirc.
Uhhh....that would get a bit awkward with ISIS.
Well, maybe for this Administration. And for Juan McQueeg.
But I’d enjoy heck out it.
Nevertheless....
Let it be known (word of mouth, and perhaps one example) that captured terrorists would be wrapped in a pigskin, executed, and buried face down with his ass facing Mecca.
See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P4zcej_oXGI starting at 4:34 for a good example. Sure, it’s a just a old movie, but the truth is inherent on what happens in those following scenes.
“Instead, the KGB kidnapped a man they knew to be a close relative of a prominent Hezbollah leader. They then castrated him and sent the severed organs to the Hezbollah official, before dispatching the unfortunate kinsman with a bullet in the brain.”
I do pretty good job on pirates too.
I don’t think this kind of work can be done by our government. At least not officially. But if a small, well-funded, clandestine organization were to undertake it, then justice could be done and we could plausibly deny any involvement.
I wonder if any Mossad folks are moonlighting ...
The only thing the animals understand is brutality. Nothing should be off the table to protect America. I would go medieval on their a$$.
An oldie but goodie! This was where Vlad Putin came from....KGB
