I just want one answer.
Where the heck is the Iraqi mililtary in all this?
Did they bug out? Defect? Or are they really getting their butts kicked by 20K Sunni terrorists who mechanized on Toyota pickup trucks?
We shouldn’t have to fight there. The Iraqis should be lining their roads with ISIS members impaled on stakes. And if they can’t, we need to shoot their government, take it over, and run it ourselves.
Getting rid of the threat of ISIL means using means that the US is not ready to use. Complete eradication will entail a “take no prisoners” mind set.
“We” could not stand Abu Gahrib. You think we are going to carpet bomb large areas of Iraq.
Not likely.
They continue until they get down into the real Oil Rich areas.
Why we are not bombing oil fields is beyond me. Why we are not cutting off their finances, is beyond me.
Maybe we are.
Why do White Americans put themselves in situations like this? ISIS already is hanging people from crosses. That alone would be my clue to get out of that part of the world, now.
I would hope that any other Americans that are over there who stick out like a sore thumb have already left.
This is heartbreaking, but they’re only journalist. Hire someone who blends in to the society to take the pictures.
I call it “assumption of risk.” Thy guy went to SYRIA during a revolution. Whatever happens to him from that point on is his problem.
I am more concerned about the Christians and Yezidees behing wiped out. It is not like they have any choices in the matter. We should be shipping weapons in to them and women and children out.
Nada al-Ahdal is described in the present tense according to wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nada_al-Ahdal
Thankfully.
I wish the media wouldn’t call them “the Islamic State “, which is apparently what they want to be called.
