LANDOVER, Md. -- The "Hands up, don't shoot" protest has made its way to the NFL.
The Washington Redskins secondary emerged from the stadium tunnel during pregame introductions Monday night with hands raised and palms forward.
It was a show of solidarity with the people in Ferguson, Missouri, who are protesting the shooting of 18-year-old Michael Brown. Eleven players took part as the team was preparing to face the Cleveland Browns.
Safety Ryan Clark said Brown "could have been any one of us. That could have been any one of our brothers, our cousins. ... When you get an opportunity to make a statement and be more than a football player, it's good."
Protesters have gathered daily in Ferguson since Brown was fatally was shot by a police officer Aug. 9.

Only if you bully others, do drugs, commit crimes and physically attack people. Just look around you, Ryan Clark, at the NFL and the NBA and you will find many “brothers” that do so and have done so in the past.

The most ‘shameful’ part of this is it happened a week after the incident when the ‘facts’ were coming out.
In the shadow of Redskin Park a little 3 yo girl was shot to death by some random thug who sprayed her home with bullets because some in the house MAY have dissed him or had the same shirt or whatever drives these idiots.
For all I know, they may have donated to her funeral etc BUT coming out en masse for a thug is plain stupid.
I went by a gas station the other day and they had a HUGE sign in the front - THIS IS WARNER COUNTRY - with Warner being a big anti gun lefty.
Naturally, since I saw the sign, I kind of figured ‘they’ wouldn’t want my business (now or in the future) since I am not and not ever likely to be a Warner Backer/Supporter/Fan.
When I had my trucks etc I would not allow ANY stickers to be placed on them as I realize that you are basically upsetting about half of your customer base or potential customers by singling out a team, politician or anything that sparks debate.
American Flag was on ALL of them though....

This shows how the highly efficient media machine can spin a story, then the sheeple lap it up. They have no clue the kid was a thug-rapper-druggie-gang dealer - his parents probably didn’t either.
And it was Michael Brown who beat Wilson. Unfortunately this evidence won’t come out for a while.
From their point of view this makes perfect sense. Given the fact that so many NFLers are criminals Brown COULD have been a brother or cousin of these guys. Thugs are thugs after all.
Maybe in tribute the Redskins should change their name to the “Browns.”
