Attorney General Eric Holder sought Wednesday to reassure the people of Ferguson about the investigation into Michael Brown's death and said he understands why many black Americans do not trust police, recalling how he was repeatedly stopped by officers who seemed to target him because of his race.
Holder made the remarks during a visit to the St. Louis suburb that has endured more than a week of unrest fueled by the fatal shooting of the black 18-year-old by a white officer. The Obama administration intended the trip to underscore its commitment to civil rights in general and the Ferguson case in particular.

Yes, because after hundreds of millions of lawful uneventful arrests, and only a small minority of wrongful arrests or bad incidents during arrests, they just can’t be trusted- Cripes!
Does he understand mistrust of the federal government, the executive branch in particular?

The attorney general described how he was stopped twice on the New Jersey Turnpike and accused of speeding. Police searched his car, going through the trunk and looking under the seats.
My friend and I got stopped on the NJT by the NJ State Police 30 years ago for allegedly speeding while coming back from FLA. He spotted an empty 6 pack of beer bottles in the car(it was 10AM). He asked about that. I told him we drank it in the motel room in Dover DE last night and saving them for the deposit. He ordered us out of the car and asked us what was in the trunk and where we were coming from and going to. My friend said golf clubs and suit cases.I said were coming from FLA and going back to CT. He than said open the the trunk and stand still and keep your hands in front of you where he could see them. He rummaged around the trunk for a few minutes and found golf clubs and clothes. After he was done he told my friend to slow down and did not give him a ticket.
The cop was black. We were not traumatized. I have talked other people that were also stopped on the NJT over the years including blacks. They were not truamatized. Thats how it rolls on the NJT if you are going over the speed limit.
Get Whitey Holder is not to be trusted. He’s a raciss.
