Today I just heard McLame on KFYI (Phoenix talk) whine about the lack of support the Free Syrian Army was getting from Obama. I swear that our leaders have been eating lead paint chips since childhood.

So, in short, Obama and McCain wanted the US to enter a war in Syria on the side of ISIS. That's comparable to, say, Bush entering Afghanistan right after 9/11 to bomb the enemies of Al-Quaeda.

Have you noticed that the only so-called "Arab Spring" revolts not supported by The Regime have been those that would have rid the world of Islamist despots? Revolts such as:

• The "Green Revolution" in Iran (2009) that would have rid that country of the Mullahs...it largely failed because nobody, including Øbama, provided them support.
• The counter-revolution in Egypt (2013) to depose Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood -- thankfully that one was successful without US assistance.

Sounds like this Foley guy was either a CIA asset or had a death wish. He was captured in Libya in 2011, then went back to Syria in 2012 after he was released. One strange aspect of this story is that most people seem to have had no knowledge of this guy before he was executed.

Some journalists (including one from ABC who visited Bin Laden pre-9/11 and another I think Australian who went into Fallujah) have to permit themselves to be taken hostage/kidnapped to be presented to their interview subject.
