The ISIS phenomenon has stunned the world.Stunned some parts of the world, but not those with even a modicum of sanity and foresight. Astute people from all quarters (active military, retired military, civil service, etc.) predicted that when the U.S. vacated Iraq, jihadists would move in to fill the vacuum.
Obama just crossed his fingers real hard, squeezed his eyes shut and refused to see or deal with the obvious.
David Cameron came home from his vacation to deal with the ISIS threat. Obama went back to Mahtha's Vineyahd to play more golf.

You would have thought that Barack Obama and David Cameron, the nominal leaders of the free world, would have had it all figured out by now. nobama's got it figured out. In fact, he appears to be helping his fellow moslem brothers.

Really???? We’ll start taking these satanists by their word when they’re beheading people on US soil. Maybe.

No, ISIS has emerged directly from the contemporary Western namby-pamby disinclination to identify the problem - Moslems - and do something about it.
But, then, governments are only good for confiascating taxes from their hard-working constituents, they really don’t like actually to have to do anything in exchange.

ISIS is NOT the problem! ISIS is only a manifestation of Islam with resources. The problem is and has been for 14 centuries ISLAM. Should Islam prevail in the present eruption, civilization will have ended for all time. The human race will descend to a level of bare subsistence and much reduced population. Internecine warfare will continue so long as the race exists but will not rise above the level of raids because there will be insufficient resources for greater violence. Islam must have nonIslamic civilization as a neighbor for it to gain wealth or even maintain what it has. With Islamicization of the world the next civilization can only arise when technology has broken down to such an extent that there is effectively no communication between these much reduced populations and perhaps the people on one continent or another will evolve differently.

Well start taking these satanists by their word when theyre beheading people on US soil. Maybe. My prediction is they'll converge on some isolated little American town or a school, hold hostages in a standoff for awhile, then behead them.

Did they ever thank Obama for the military equipment he gave them back when he called them Freedom Fighters?

When that happens, may God so stir our souls that Islamic jackals will discover what Yamamoto feared, that in America “there will be a rifle behind every blade of grass”.
And, our knives will be loose in our sheathes as we will not take many prisoners.

RE: Did they ever thank Obama for the military equipment he gave them back when he called them Freedom Fighters?
Actually, most of them were taken from the Iraqi military after they refused to fight, fled and left their military equipment behind.
Now, we find ourselves having to BOMB and destroy our own military equipment.

Western leaders have been flummoxed as to how to contend with the group and its acts of unrelenting barbarism
Civilized world vs barbarian world.
You cannot fight that -- and expect to win -- with a PC mentality. Political correctness? They laugh at that. No matter how 'nice' the PC world is to the Gitmo detainees, for example, when those detainees are released, most return to the the battlefields.
The only way is to defeat to surrender, not to politically correct negotiations. The West has been too eager to rush in the diplomats into war torn areas before the war was actually won.

All mosques in America, and all members and visitors thereto must be cataloged. Said data being public documents, they must be made available to the public.
In such manner may the sworn enemies of America be identified.

Good point. ISIS has nothing of Genghis Khan's tactical and strategic brilliance - unmatched in human history and studied at every War College in the world. Genghis did not care what religion you worshiped or your race just as long as you did not oppose his rule. His brutality was real but was not uncommon for the 13th Century. The sad fact is that ISIS and much of the Islamic world are still stuck in the 13th century. Their brutality and religious fanaticism will their downfall. Whereas, Genghis Khan's empire expanded and lasted over 100 years after his death.Genghis might have been the only ruler who knew how to deal with the Muslim menace, which is why he is the Muslim World's Hitler. .
