Yes, according to DJ’s lawyer he was arresting for having a stolen backpack and claiming he was 16, not his actual 19. He spent 14 days in jail, and when the authorities from the theft location failed to come for him, the “jailers” let him go with a court order to stay at least 50 mi. away for a specified length of time.

Obviously the radio station, 100.7 The Viper, can’t predict with authority that Wilson will be completely exonerated by the grand jury. And since this is a radio station many will feel they are only trying to gin up their ratings. That’s a reasonable conclusion given the hijinks radio stations have been known to do for ratings. But in defense of themselves, they added this in the comment section of the above Facebook post:
“For the record….WE broke the autopsy results ON SATURDAY NIGHT, RIGHT HERE. Every detail that WE reported, (6 shots, none in the back, marijuana etc) were all confirmed on Monday.
Our info has been right on, and I have no reason to doubt this. Is it a guarantee? No. That would be silly.”

Take this for what you think it is worth.
Do you live in StL? If so, then you would know how innane you sound. If not, shut the hell up, you have not idea what you are talking about.
It’s called “felony murder”: if you commit a felony, and someone dies in the process or in the escape, YOU are responsible.
That includes an observer dying of a heart attack during perp’s exit from a bank robbery.
In this case, Johnson was party to a felony (no question, it’s on video), and as he & his cohort were leaving his cohort died.
Moreover, his cohort assaulted a cop, and his cohort died - be it while escaping or re-engaging the assault (covering BOTH standard theories of the event, be it Brown being shot in the back while fleeing or submitting, or in the front as he returned to beat the cop again). He admitted to being a party to the incident, so he’s screwed no matter what’s proven.
Even if he doesn’t recant, does bring up the fact that he is COMPLETELY screwed unless he does. A party to a felony + somebody died = felony murder. He takes the fall for Brown’s death no matter how the story works out.
