40 FBI agents search for ´civil rights´ crimes in Ferguson as Eric Holder plans

The Department of Justice has 40 FBI agents canvassing Ferguson, Missouri to learn whether a white police officer should be charged with a ´civil rights´ crime for shooting an unarmed black teen, the agency confirmed on Tuesday. [Snip] The DOJ is conducting interviews with an eye toward determining if a federal case will be made of the shooting, regardless of whether the state of Missouri charges Wilson with murder or manslaughter. It´s conceivable that he might not be charged for killing the teen, but still face a trial in federal court for violating his civil rights.

Here’s their first conclusion:

Store owner’s rights were violated when he became the victim of a strong arm robbery.

2. Outside agitators and rioters violated the rights of store and other property owners.

3. The president and ag instigated some of the rioting by jumping to conclusions and making racial statements.

4. The governor should have called out the national guard to protect life and property beginning the second night.

It seems to me everyone has made up their mind what happened here. While only a few actual people really know what happened.

What's funny is how fired up the community gets over this, and at the very same time they ignore the crime that kills many black men everyday.

This is real simple folks. It's a war on the police.

If I'm not mistaken this is the same police department that said anti-abortionist, constitutionalists, 2nd Amendment lovers were the “enemy” and extremely dangerous via the MIAC report.

They were siding with the people that overwhelmingly hate them, and turning on the people that overwhelmingly like them. This is why they purchased military hardware instead of cameras like every other major city in the United States.

I hope this is a wake up call to the police on who likes them and who hates them.... Do they really want to stab in the back of their supporters for some corrupt politicians? Furthermore, turn the greatest country in the world to a 3rd world $hit hole?

Once this event is over... The first thing this Ferguson PD needs to do sell their equipment and put cameras in all their patrol cars and put cameras on their officers. If there was a camerae that day, then I don't think you would see in the streets what you see now. In this day and age with all the cameras there is simply no excuse for not having it.

Holder should be warned that he will not be in office forever and he will pay for his “Civil Rights” violations.(Except the Republicans have no guts and will not prosecute the clown.)

This is real simple folks. It's a war on the police.

It's not a war on police - 'rats love the cops, they hide behind them, and most cops are unionized and vote 'rat. The days of the conservative cop are going by the wayside.

This will result in TONS of new cops, cop money and repressive laws to keep the citizens in line.

Obama could have used his bi-racial ethnicity for healing old racial wounds....but instead, he aligned himself with his Kenyan father who neglected him...and demeaned his white grandmother who raised him as a ‘typical white woman’.

The significance of being the first ‘black’ POTUS should have stopped with his inauguration and his efforts to bringing good people of all races together should have begun. He seems to have no desire to ease racial animosity, shades of Sharpton and Jesse Jackson.

One wonders how interracial families are dealing with the hate being expressed in the media 24/7. They must be devastated as are most decent people of all colors.

Lavrentiy Beria, Stalin’s head of the secret police, bragged, “Show me the man, and I will find you the crime.”

I thought it was a play off of “Ecce Homo”

Yeah but the COPs have an interesting dilemma.

Most conservatives are law abiding and there is very little to no crime in their communities compared to the leftist. They believe in law and order like the cops. Even if the cops are Dems.

While the leftist communities are full of crime and they continue to push what they can get away with which brings the cops into their community. Thus, the hatred for the cops continue.

If the cops turn on the only people that support them, then they have no support.

“It´s conceivable that he might not be charged for killing the teen, but still face a trial in federal court for violating his civil rights.”

Can someone explain this to me? (I’m just a befuddled foreigner — I’m clearly missing some nuances about American justice here.)

Jesus, one would think they would wait until the local investigations are over and/or the grand jury hears the case. I think I heard it goes to GJ Thursday?

The DOJ must be taking into consideration the longer they wait, the less likely it will be to find people to make sworn statements to the effect that gentle giant was on his knees, hands in air (the universal sign of surrender) when white police officer filled him with 7 bullets, from behind execution style
