Two St. Louis city police officers shot and killed a black man who came within several feet of them brandishing a knife on Tuesday in a confrontation a few miles from the turbulent suburb of Ferguson, authorities said.

I’ve seen YouTube videos that point out a knife wielding assailant can rush in and stab you quite easily before you can even draw a firearm defensively to stop them. 7 feet is not much distance to clear.

When attacked by an innocent African American:

1. Remain still at all times as the attack commences. If the victim smashes your head against cement, stabs or shoots you, remain still at all costs. Failure to do so will bring forth charges of racism.

2. Do NOT under any circumstances defend, attempt to defend or even think of defending yourself from the victims attack. Besides charges of racism, you will be charged with assault or even charged with murder if you kill the victim attempting to take your life.

3. If you survive the attack and the victim walks away pounding his fists together like he just scored a touchdown, immediately apologize, admit that you are responsible for slavery and proceed to pay the victim reparations (your life savings are usually the polite sum to remit)
