Eric Holder Kick Starts DOJ Distraction Machine – Begins Ferguson Missouri Racial Grievance Movement
The Last Refuge ^ | August 14, 2014 | sundance

Eric Holder is instituting the same process in Ferguson Missouri he used in Sanford Florida. The civil rights wing of the DOJ is dispatched into Ferguson. They are officially called the “Community Relations Service” (CRS), and historically -in previous administrations- have been called upon when racial animus is a concern amid a local municipality.

However, under the Eric Holder tenure, and as a specific mandate of the current administration, the CRS has been given a different mandate. The CRS is a statutorily protected secret entity within the DOJ, and is now the official racial advocacy network for the professional black grievance industry. As witnessed in the Trayvon Martin case the CRS now use their federal expense accounts to purchase venues for protest, contract audio/visual needs, purchase signs and professional media materials and purchase hotel rooms and coordinate airline flights and travel accommodations for the professional agitators. Many of the CRS professionals are within the AME network.

We would be remiss if we did not point out the CRS was previously deployed in 2012 -which was an election year- as part of a coordinated strategy. 2014 is -not coincidentally- another election year, and yes, numerous more tragic examples have taken place in multiple communities far more severe than the current incident involving the Mike Brown shooting, yet they fell outside the calendar of convenience.

Eric HolderWASHINGTON DC - Attorney General Eric Holder released a new statement Thursday regarding the escalating tensions in Ferguson, Missouri, saying such unrest “cannot continue,” but expressed concerns over the actions of local law enforcement.

“At a time when we must seek to rebuild trust between law enforcement and the local community, I am deeply concerned that the deployment of military equipment and vehicles sends a conflicting message,” Holder said in his statement, adding that those concerns have been conveyed by Justice Department officials to local authorities.

Holder added that the agency has offered technical assistance to local law enforcement “in order to help conduct crowd control and maintain public safety without relying on unnecessarily extreme displays of force.”

“While the vast majority of protests have been peaceful, acts of violence by members of the public cannot be condoned,” Holder said.

He continued, “By the same token, the law enforcement response to these demonstrations must seek to reduce tensions, not heighten them.” ().

The federal DOJ protesting the use of military style equipment while the federal DHS is actively giving it to the police is a hypocritical irony not lost on us

Then again, it’s probably got more to do with who the equipment is directed against. If this was the Tea Party protesting it’s doubtful the DOJ would have such concerns.

Nice of all the major media (Fox included) to push Obama’s racial tension distraction strategy for the 2014 election. We’re not talking about Illegals flooding our borders, ObamaCare ruining family budgets, ISIS overturning the blood bought cities of Iraq, the worst participation rate in half a century, etc.

Conservatives are busy carrying Obama’s water in his racial distraction in Ferguson. And we’re energizing his base for him.

The only way that makes sense to discuss Ferguson at this point is: Obama has screwed up everything he’s touched including race relations.

Am I the only one who noticed that Obama said “The DOJ works for me” yesterday?

Hasn’t the cops got enough to do there without now having to provide protection for this elitist racist who has no clue what it is like to live on the street.?

Sad but despite superficial accomadations made in the popular culture, the core of race relations has not changed since 1965. Generally whites want very little to do with blacks and blacks inherently feel that whites would kill them off if they could. Politically incorrect to state but that’s the way it really is.

The rent-a-mob, Obama, the DoJ and the MSM are framing this to blame Ferguson's police department and "reform" it.

Can Anyone Fix the Ferguson Police Department? It needs to be overhauled. It takes time, but it can be done.

"President Obama on Monday announced that he will send Attorney General Eric Holder to Ferguson, Missouri. America’s top law enforcement official will meet with FBI agents conducting the civil rights investigation into the death of Michael Brown, the unarmed, black 18-year-old who was shot and killed by a white police officer a little more than a week ago. The investigation into Brown’s death—which will include a federal autopsy of his body—is expected to take some time. But its end will likely only mark the beginning of a larger probe into the Ferguson Police Department, which has seemingly gone out of its way to stoke protesters’ anger by refusing to clarify the circumstances of the shooting, and by greeting the originally peaceful protests with military-grade riot gear."

Any meaningful reconciliation to the chaos and conflict provoked by this episode will have to include reform of the Ferguson Police Department. But how could that be done? How do you fix a police department that has proven it can’t police itself?

If Holder concludes that there has been a pattern of misconduct by the police—either in the lead-up to Brown’s death or in its aftermath—the president has the ability to force widespread reforms within the department with the help of a law passed in the wake of the Rodney King beating. The provision in question, part of what was officially known as the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994, is “one of the most significant” pieces of civil rights legislation passed in the latter part of 20th century, and also one of the most “overlooked,” according to Joe Domanick, the associate director of the John Jay College of Criminal Justice’s Center on Media, Crime, and Justice. The law gives the federal government two options: It can either formally pursue a federal civil rights lawsuit against the Ferguson Police Department by alleging a “pattern and practice” of misconduct or the administration and city officials can enter into what is known as a “consent decree” that would mandate a specific set of reforms that would then be overseen by an independent court-appointed monitor. Faced with the possibility of a costly court battle, most cities have historically taken the path of least resistance and signed on the decree’s dotted lines. Ferguson officials probably wouldn’t buck that trend............."

Ferguson isn’t important.

It’s a flippin’ suburb of one of America’s medium sized metro areas.

It’s a cop story.

But Obama has us discussing that stupid case instead of his gross failures in everything foreign and domestic.

AND, the change in Illegal Immigration by executive order that’s supposed to happen when congress returns from recess?

Conservatives have totally gone crazy following a local cop shoots perp story. I guess race really does fascinate them.

Obama said “The DOJ works for me”
That sure stuck in my craw. Obama, Pelosi, and their ilk really do believe they are the political elite. They believe they should direct this nation because the lowly citizens are not intelligent enough to control their own lives. I guess the dumb masses who vote for them time after time no matter the destruction they cause has led them to believe they are that ‘special’.

Like you said, we’re now not talking about...”Illegals flooding our borders, ObamaCare ruining family budgets, ISIS overturning the blood bought cities of Iraq, the worst participation rate in half a century, etc”.

The socialists have, once again, taken over the narrative of the day.

>>Conservatives have totally gone crazy following a local cop shoots perp story. I guess race really does fascinate them.<<

I think race paralyzes them with fear.

Also, the narrative is that the Ferguson PD is the culprit. The Democrat Governor replaced them on riot patrol with the State Police but the narrative still blames the FPD for the continuing riots as if the FPD is handling it.

I personally think we need a new means of choosing an attorney general anyway. Maybe having the state legislatures nominate candidates and vote on one.

A US attorney general is not supposed to be A presidents personal defense attorney and enforcer.

Here in Michigan we vote on our state attorney general and sometimes end up with one from the opposing party. We’ve got a good one now who clearly works for the state constitution and doesn’t just agree with the governor.

The narrative should be:

“He screws up everything he touches. Even race relations are screwed up. Illegal immigration is screwed up. ObamaCare is screwed up. Foreign policy is screwed up. This part-time economy is screwed up. Now, race relations are screwed up, and that’s especially bad, because we’d hoped he could have helped that, but he made it worse.”

Instead we’re busy arguing exit and entry wounds. You could be right. It might be fear. I’m afraid it’s “easy distraction disorder.”

“the lowly citizens are not intelligent enough to control their own lives.”

If your talking about the democrats voter base then this
statement is true. The democrat and now part of the republican party depend on a permanent ignorant underclass
to keep them in office. That ignorant underclass is now
47% of the US population. Any and everyone who voted for
the Obama is part of it.

Meanwhile the guy currently running the show (Ron Johnson) snuggles up to the black panthers and seems to have sympathies with the Bloods gang.
