A woman who says she witnessed the shooting of unarmed black teenager Michael Brown has released video to CNN that shows Brown lying in the street as officers stand by.
The shooting has spawned a week of protests in which demonstrators have demanded an explanation for Brown's killing. Police in Ferguson, Mo., say officer Darren Wilson opened fire because Brown tried to take his gun during an altercation.
Piaget Crenshaw said she has waited until now to release the video because she feared for her safety and was waiting for police to release Wilson's name, which they did Friday. She also said police could have released her video Friday — when they also released surveillance footage that they said showed Brown stealing cigarillos from a convenience store before the shooting. She said police had her video because they confiscated her phone.

So headline says ‘witness releases video’. yYur comment says ‘see the video at the bottom of the article. Do you see where one might get the notion that the video released by witness is at the end of the article? Was it? Not that I could tell. Did I miss it? Or did you mislead?
From what I have seen, this video shows nothing new.
Just more hype.
She lied her ass off. She said Brown “body-jerked as if he was hit, turned around and put his hands up”, upon which Smith delivered the coup de grace. Problem with her lies is that all of the shots were from the front.
Johnson wasn’t standing beside Brown. The instant he heard a gunshot, Johnson went and hid behind a car. When he saw Brown standing there taunting police, he yelled “GO BRO”. That is when Mike charged at the officer.
One would have to articulate that the perp was an imminent and deadly threat to someone. And the crime committed prior to the fligbt has to be “heinous”

But it's a second witness saying the kid had his hands up when shot. Also that the cop was shooting in pursuit.
Will they say it that way in court under threat of perjury? Who knows...
There is also testimony there were about 3 cars stopped behind the cop car. Hopefully those folks will come forward and tell what they saw.
Her video is probably the one that shows Brown lying on the ground and you can hear a guy in the background that witnessed the shooting saying how Brown “double-backed” and charged the cop. She probably didn’t realize that his voice was even on there because it contradicts everything she said.
That means the officer did have a struggle with the guy. The guy runs away from the officer; heads back from being shot in the front not the back of his head like that lying friend of his told reporters. He was shot in the arm a number of times and continued to come toward the officer. He probably told the cop he was going to kill him after being shot.
Officer tried a number of times to get the guy down. No one has shown any facts that the guy didn’t assault the officer/keeps showing the guy fought the officer.
That woman from this article ran to CNN to keep the narrative going. White cop guns down black teenager.
The only ‘truth’ that Johnson told was that they were walking down the street when the cop came by and told them to “get the f on the sidewalk”. According to Johnson, he and Mike (politely, I’m sure) said “NO”. He said the officer stamped on his brakes and backed up. After that point, it was all lies.
I'm attempting to be fastidiously accurate due to all the high emotion.
The video is of the girl talking to media.
No, this article was all about getting clicks so you view their advertising. It was a bait and switch routine.
Agree there is no dispute now that the thug robbed a store.
He also assaulted the store owner.
Seems no one is saying he did not attack the cop.
The cop had to go to hospital.
So how the hell can anyone still keep this B/S up about the cop being wrong is beyond me.
granted there is the usual suspects of those wanting cash, those wanting in to the investigation and those who just hate cops , but any normal person can see this seems a justified shot.
