Michael Brown, the unarmed black teenager who was killed by a police officer, sparking protests around the nation, was shot at least six times, including twice in the head, a preliminary private autopsy performed on Sunday found.
One of the bullets entered the top of Mr. Brown’s skull, suggesting his head was bent forward when it struck him and caused a fatal injury, according to Dr. Michael M. Baden, the former chief medical examiner for the City of New York, who flew to Missouri on Sunday at the family’s request to conduct the separate autopsy. It was likely the last of bullets to hit him, he said.
Mr. Brown, 18, was also shot four times in the right arm, he said, adding that all the bullets were fired into his front.
The bullets did not appear to have been shot from very close range because no gunpowder was present on his body. However, that determination could change if it turns out that there is gunshot residue on Mr. Brown’s clothing, to which Dr. Baden did not have access.

Dr. Baden provided a diagram of the entry wounds, and noted that the six shots produced numerous wounds. Some of the bullets entered and exited several times, including one that left at least five different wounds.
“This one here looks like his head was bent downward,” he said, indicating the wound at the very top of Mr. Brown’s head. “It can be because he’s giving up, or because he’s charging forward at the officer.”
He stressed that his information does not assign blame or justify the shooting.
“We need more information; for example, the police should be examining the automobile to see if there is gunshot residue in the police car,”...

OK, Doc - someone who is 100# heavier has a bead on you. How many rounds are OK? 1? 2? (Hint: STFU.)
If the nipple injury and the bicep injury are associated, then we know his arms were down.
Seems very unlikely that you’d get 4 right arm hits with the arms raised.
Seems much more likely that they were down or in the running position, and the officer’s aim was poor while trying for center mass.
Fits firing at a charging suspect, with the last shot hitting the top of the head as he fell.
That's almost a certainty.

The wounds look consistent with arms at the side. However, the fatal wound - the one to the head - could have come after he gave up or not. One cannot tell.
No shot in the back and he wasn’t holding his arms up in the air either. His partner in crime (witness) is a liar.

Baden and his wife condemned, tried and convicted George Zimmerman from day 1. His wife was on that filthy HLN nightly prior and during trial.

And I’ll add that if the police tell me to stop and hit the ground... I may not like it...but I will. But that’s just me.
From what I read, there was a shot (don’t know if Brown was hit) in or near the police car and then Brown started running off and the cop got out of the car and yelled to freeze and Brown turned around and charged the cop and the cop fired several shots as Brown charged him until Brown was stopped. Apparently it took several hits before Brown actually stopped.
It was the last shot, fired as he fell. One can tell by the trajectory through the body.

Only the two head shots might have stopped him. That's the general idea, isn't it?

It would seem they were down as the ME said that several bullets entered and exited and entered again, that seems almost impossible if the arms were up.
Details, details.
You may know that, but the guy doing the autopsy apparently does not.
