And this is why Sharpton was at the memorial today telling the crowd that many “lies” would be told about Brown in the coming days.
He knew the whole story on the street was going to collapse and he’s just trying to stay ahead of it.

but the eyewitnesses all said he was shot in the back while running away.......facts are stubborn things.
To: kristinn
Well, that seems to create as many questions as it answers. Anyone know how many total shots were fired?

Exactly. All of the info coming from radical, criminal side are all lies. He charged the officer. Brown had to be high on something to do that and keep coming after being shot.
We have enough information. Give the protesters a time limit to clear the streets, then shoot to kill.

I don’t know. But I heard that there were two shots fired while he was running away. Those didn’t hit him.

are the arm wounds consistent with ‘hands up’ on a large-build man? it doesn’t seem so?

They also said he had his hands in the air. I wonder if the autopsy can shed any light on that?

I think it would be nearly impossible to hit arms extended above that many times, intentionally or not, but the arms are often hit by misses aimed at center mass, especially when the target is moving.
Unless I see compelling contradictory evidence, I am convinced by the locations of the wounds that he didn't have his hands up.

“Mr. Brown was a big man at 6-foot-4 and 292 pounds, “
Even unarmed, he is a powerful man — at 18 he is an adult, they keep referring to him as a “teenager”.
