The family of the black teenager shot dead by a policeman in St Louis are haunted by the image of him holding his hands up at the moment he was killed, a family member claimed today.
Ty Pruitt said that the mental picture of Michael Brown surrendering was stuck in his relatives’ minds as it showed he was ‘killed like an animal’.
Pruitt spoke out at an emotional Sunday church service during which Brown’s mother Lesley McSpadden sobbed and wiped the tears away from her eyes with a tissue.
His father Michael Brown Sr stood grim faced whilst wearing a T-shirt with his son’s picture on it and the slogan: ‘No Justice, No Peace’.

No clue; I wonder how many more days this will drag on; already six days, looks like a full week of rioting. If this lasts longer, it might become worse.

I’m tired of this; I just hope the rioting at some point subsides when school starts. Although, to be blunt, I do not think that school will lessen it, only escalate it. The courts will have to decide of they want to do a sham trial and frankly that will take up a lot of time as well.

I admittedly haven’t followed the details of this case, but the hands up scenario was from his strong arm robbery accomplice as I recall. No reason he would lie through his teeth or for any sane parent to believe anything he said.
