Press Release: “St. Louis County Police Department Deplores Decision by Gov. Jay Nixon”
St. Louis County Police Association ^ | 8/15/14

Posted on 08/16/2014 6:15:11 PM PDT by SoFloFreeper

The St. Louis County Police Association (SLCPA) deplores yesterdays decision by Gov. Jay Nixon to remove the St. Louis County Police Department from command authority in the evolving situation occurring in Ferguson.

The SLCPA fully supports Chief of Police Jon Belmar, as well as the men and women of our department, in the decisions made to control the unlawful and often chaotic moments of the previous days.

Gov. Nixon’s decision was motivated by local and national political pressure. His decision not only did not improve public safety but put officers lives in danger. Our officers were ordered by the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) not to deploy with personal protective equipment such as helmets and shields. Subsequently, last night, an officer was assaulted when a thrown brick struck his person. Thankfully, the officer was not seriously injured. It is of note that several patrol vehicles were damaged by thrown debris, a news photographer was assaulted, a McDonalds was nearly burglarized, and a person showed up at Christian Northeast Hospital after being shot in the protest area. All of this occurred last night after control was relinquished to the MSHP.

The SLCPA stands by the rank and file Troopers of the MSHP. Their leadership, however, is another matter. Allowing hundreds of people to shut down a major thoroughfare, some of whom were firing bullets from moving vehicles, assaulting innocent bystanders, and more wouldn’t be tolerated in any other day. As Police Officers we’re committed to upholding everyone’s right to peacefully protest. However, when a misguided minority of that group chooses to assault their fellow neighbors, assault police officers, damages property, and inflame unrest, this department should and must take a stand against that type of activity.

Our members who were deployed last night informed the Executive Board of this Association that the MSHP Command had been given orders to not respond to calls for service within the protest area. If this is true the citizens of Ferguson should be outraged.

The SLCPA stands by the fine men and women of this department.

Notice few mentions that Nixon is a Democrat AND NO MENTION THAT he was the one who expected his problems to come from the Tea Party “militia”.

OOPS! He was a bit wrong there wasn’t he?

Wiki summary
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jay_Nixon#Controversies

“The Missouri Information Analysis Center (MIAC) issued a report titled “The Modern Militia Movement” on February 20, 2009, informing the Missouri State Highway Patrol of several groups of people who could possibly be linked to domestic militia groups. According to the report, these groups included white Christians, supporters of third-party presidential candidates Ron Paul, Bob Barr, and Chuck Baldwin, as well as opponents of gun control, illegal immigration, abortion, the Federal Reserve System, and the Internal Revenue Service. Following a joint letter from Paul, Barr, and Baldwin condemning the report, Nixon and the MIAC issued an apology concerning the report and stated that it will no longer be displayed on any official state websites.[6]”

I just saw Capt. Ron Johnson on TV saying the Muslims, Black Panthers and others from the community would help clear the streets later tonight.

Oh yeah? Was it in effect last night? Do you know what happened last night? More looting and burning and the poh-leece were told to stand down.

A bark with no bite is no bark ...

Here’s what Patton wrote back in 1932 on this subject, and he was talking about riot control:

- - - -

Tactics:

In general, never halt, except to give warning with a time limit and act instantly at the end of the period specified. Never permit a mob to gain a success. Should they do so, make instant and vigorous reprisals. When a mob starts to move, keep it on the run but always leave it a line of retreat; a cornered rat will fight desperately, while on the other hand, movement to the rear engenders panic.

In an attack, move first against the flanks via side streets using cavalry. While this action is in progress, start a rear attack also with cavalry but don’t push it home. Finally, make the frontal attack.

...

Street Formations:

...

If an enemy is met in a street, deploy completely across the street in close order and direct him to fall back, unless he is in equal or smaller numbers, in which case keep moving and use the bayonet to encourage his retreat. If they are running, a few good wounds in the buttocks will encourage them. ...

Press conference where despite all the “hug it out” BS and token prop blacks on stage......

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=riIBGTEf6go

You can smell the tar being heated.

Plus, now no police protection for property owners so as not to offend the “oppressed” cannot end well. Property owners on their own as the forces of order fold and flee....gee, how surprising.

If this unrest moves to white residential neighborhoods such as where Officer Wilson (long gone) lived, then the real chaos will start.

It probably will not, as in their skivvy little hearts the protestors know whitey has guns and knows who to use them.

Pray for peace in St. Louis.

a person showed up at Christian Northeast Hospital after being shot in the protest area.

I guess I'd rather be shot in the protest area than in the groin or chest or head.

Looks like the Governor kissing the butts of rioters and race pimps in public didn’t work out as well as he hoped.
They let him kiss their butts and make a fool out of himself and then they went back to doing what rioters and race pimps do.

Remember the old story about the woman and the snake:

WOMAN TO SNAKE: “Why did you bite me? I saved your life, I brought you into my home, I kept you warm and I fed you.”

SNAKE TO WOMAN: “You knew I was a snake when you brought me home.”

"I just saw Capt. Ron Johnson on TV saying the Muslims, Black Panthers and others from the community would help clear the streets later tonight."

Isn't that what that Jackass governor Jay Nixon assigned Johnson to do?!? Now Capt. Ron is turning over law enforcement to Obama's people and Holder's people!?!?

What a bunch of demonicrat schmucks!!

I’d definitely like to hear how that works out - or doesn’t, as seems likely.

One was at least a patriot... the other one in Jefferson City, not so much.
