Perhaps they need to send some UN people there so the UN can learn what a war crime really is.

This is really heartbreaking, though very Islamic. Other Islamic invasions have done exactly same things to many non-muslims in particular over the centuries. One avenue possibly open to the Yazidis is to try and cross the border into Iran. There are Yazidis in Iranian Kurdistan across the border from Iraqi Kurdistan.
