At about 1 a.m., a St. Louis County Police officer shot and critically wounded a man who police said pointed a handgun at the officer near the intersection of West Florissant and Chambers Road.
The shooting happened near Chambers and Sheffingdell Court close to the site of protests against police for the fatal shooting of Michael Brown.
Police said they received a call about four to five men in the area armed with shotguns and wearing ski masks and they got reports of shots fired in the area. Police officers arrived and saw "multiple subjects running," said police spokesman Officer Brian Schellman.
An officer approached one of the men and he pulled a handgun on the officer who then fired, Schellman said.
Police said they recovered the handgun at the scene. The man was taken to a hospital.

How do you know if they are SWAT or DHS ?
Those people there are now trying to provoke the police and think they run the streets.
If true then the idiot who pointed the gun got what he deserved.
Now will there be more excuses to act like animals and go out and riot, steal.
er because it states so on their uniform, and they declare themselves at the other cops, plus why on earth would they point the gun at the police anyway.

I followed a St Louis police car with the plate “SWAT 2” last year.
why would you follow a car?
Not having a go , but I can’t imagine seeing a car and then finding the time to follow it for no reason.

This is how it starts, I believe. The police may be well armed and well-versed in tactics, but they are greatly outnumbered. Pray for our nation.

The story will be it was a planted gun.

While I would not be surprised if the scumbag did point a gun at the cop (I know the area), I also would not be the least surprised if the cop planted the gun afterwards--I know the area.
I note the details of this shoot have been released within 24 hours yet the details of the shoot which started all this still haven’t been released.

I wouldn’t be surprised if false reports are phoned in to try and entrap cops either.
