15,000 feet is the max range for most MANPADS.
A C-130’s only defense against MANPADS is flares. The C-130 is about as maneuverable as brick with wings. The crew was likely ordered to stay above the MANPADS engagement envelope.
God’s justice may be slow, but it is certain. I’m sure President Obama, the arrogant narcissist in chief, is not overly concerned about ultimate justice but I’m thinking (and praying) he should be.

It appears all the most vicious bloodthirsty young Islamic men in the world are rushing to join ISIS. These horrible pictures are posted by them and they show great glee while committing their atrocities.
