Sunday in Tucson AZ, an illegal immigrant with no drivers license was pulled over for a routine traffic stop over an illegal right turn. However, that traffic stop led to police and Border Patrol officers being swarmed by a spontaneous protest.

One of these prizes killed five here and thankfully himself while fleeing the cops this weekend. He had already been convicted of DUI.
My wife can easily spot the out of place illegals at the store. They are either belligerent or bewildered. Many places have become very uncomfortable.

Why do these criminals get a free pass from leftists????? If I was stopped and found to have no license, the police would arrest me and these people would not lift a finger. Oh yeah, but I’m a native American.

I've come to believe this is by design and, in my more cynical moments, see it as dovetailing with the drive to kill off the middle class.

I'd really like to see a governor step up and use military force to start sealing the border for two reasons:

Because they are oblivious to the costs, and certainly don’t think they’re paying for them.
Liberals should be very concerned about these newcomers who have “unenlightened” views on race, gender roles, sexual preferences, and the environment (to name just a few of the libs’ priorities).
You’re right; my town has a lot of illegals, but I couldn’t imagine them being brazen enough to try to stop an arrest like this. Whereas before they used to tool around in beat-up cars, I think the word got out that they’d be arrested or deported if caught driving unregistered/uninsured/uninspected; now legions of them are bicycling around like Red Chinese peasants.
My thoughts also.
Saw in the past week a number of representatives of that group. I'd describe their look as dull and furtive, almost animal-like in its primitiveness. These are people who have trouble taking stock of their surroundings.
What came as a breath of fresh air was, later that same week, running into a group (a family) from the same region, but of a totally different culture and class. Dad, Mom, and two boys of grade-school age all spoke Spanish, but it was clear and beautiful Spanish, and I guessed from their accents that they were from Mexico. They were middle class, well-mannered and neatly dressed, apparently tourists or on some other legitimate business here, if they were not citizens already. The older boy sported a crimson-and-gold jersey with "Gryffindor" imprinted on it.
Would that the Latinos visiting our great land were from the second group and not the first.
And while I am on the subject, I'd like to add what makes someone American in appearance. Americans are people who know they are going somewhere. American is not an ethnicity or skin color or hair type. American is an attitude. Legal visitors to our shores are prepared to take on that attitude and all legal immigrants are Americans in their hearts already.
The illegals, as you have pointed out, are not. They stick out like a sore thumb.

It was said long ago by someone that if the US fell it would be taken down from within. I don’t know about that but if you think it is bad now wait till the financial crash.
