FERGUSON, Mo. - A day of anger over a fatal police shooting of an unarmed black teen in suburban St. Louis turned to mayhem as people looted businesses, vandalized vehicles and confronted police in riot gear who tried to block access to parts of the city.
Additionally, Laura Hettiger, a reporter for CBS affiliate KMOV-TV, tweeted that the police chief in Ferguson claims he and the St. Louis County Police chief were shot at overnight in a Walmart parking lot.
Police told CBS affiliate KMOV-TV in St. Louis that close to 300 officers responded to the area and two officers suffered injuries throughout the night. St. Louis County Police said at least 19 different departments responded to Ferguson, arresting at least 32 people. According to police, shots were fired at a police helicopter in the area.

The name of the officer is supposed to be released, I believe tomorrow.
I guess we’ll have to wait until tomorrow to see if I’m right, and if that witness made that statement.

I’m sort of glad that the Williams death is pushing this off the news. I think those types of riots grow the more that they are publicized. Of course I’m sad about Williams’ death. I pray that it doesn’t push people over the edge.
I don't know whether it's an eastern missouri slang thing, or black thing, but everyone that is black in St. Louis, including the newscasters, keep saying 'vidjual'.
Story says 34 riots/looters were arrested the night before.
Even those who clearly committed felonies (aiming a weapon at a Federal Officer with the intent to intimidate, and all sorts of other thnigs) have not been subsequently pursued.

Ha! Same thing during the Rodney King riots. The majority of the looters were Hispanics - I doubt a single one of them knew who Rodney King was - or even cared.
All they saw was free diapers, free liquor and free toilet paper (apparently the first 3 things grabbed).

Don’t refer to a bunch of useless thugs causing mayhem(that’s what they do) a vigil...you demeaan the young man who got killed and actually give a reason to the worthless debris who caused the trouble.

The fact that it wasn’t released is causing the speculation; if “white”, then I suspect the last name will be Rodriguez or Santos. A lot of more-recently government workers are affirmative-action types; I wouldn’t be surprised. Given the sensationalism of our media, I can’t believe they are delaying the description if the shooter was in fact white.
There is no reason to push this off the news; doing so can endanger peoples’ lives (especially in a certain radius around that location). Let the riots grow, so we can dispel the myth that Obama has done anything for black Americans; let this and Trayvon Martin be his legacy. The hood-rat president who let down the hood-rats...

They will eventually take out Bundy and those they have identified that defended him one at a time. Creating a Climate of fear is one of the hallmarks of a totalitarian regime.
Obama and his media desperately WANT what they have demonized us for years for.

I remember the Rodney King riots well..half the looters were black, the other half hispanic..none of them even had a clue who Rodney King was..I remember they interviewed this one guy carrying a TV and the reporter asked him why he was stealing that TV and he responded “I want some free sh*t so I took it.” Its all about getting the freebies, they don’t care about destroying their own communities as long as they get what in their mind belongs to them..that’s the liberal philosophy, take take take
The fact that the race of the shooter hasn’t been reported indicates he’s probably black. If he’s white he would have already been identified as a member of the tea party. I could be wrong.
