Social-Media Posts Belie Russian Denials About Ukraine Involvement

By Glenn Kates

July 31, 2014

Russia has sought to maintain plausible deniability about its involvement in the conflict in Ukraine's east.

Granted, separatist leaders like Igor Girkin and Igor Bezler are Russian citizens with alleged pasts in Russia's security services, but Moscow says they came to Ukraine on their own accord.

And although some high-powered weapons have been traced back to Russia, the Kremlin has argued -- albeit not particularly convincingly -- that any weapons in separatist hands were taken from the Ukrainian side.

But some Russian military personnel may not have gotten the memo.

Aleksandr Sotkin, a 24-year-old Russian soldier who BuzzFeed first reported had been posting updates apparently from inside Ukraine, is the most recent culprit in the series of what appear to be social-media snafus.

"Night shift..working up a sweat," says this post from June 30, apparently posted inside Ukraine in the town of Krasna Talivka, 3 kilometers from the border with Russia.

The hypocrisy of you two is that at least one of you is a deranged believer in the NWO, and the other has posted links to anti-semitic articles to prove your claims.

So now you're complaining that the Russkies are, apparently, taking photos of themselves in Ukraine, or shooting shells into Ukraine, because it's on their social media? It was on social media where Strelkov was posting all his dispatches and bragged about shooting down the airliner (before they realized it was not a cargo plane).

Every body's got their opinions/assessments on social media and MSM on what's happening in Ukraine's conflict...and they're all so called professionals...even if they aren't!

Blame Putin has become so widespread they have twitter accounts up to blame him for everything from hick-ups to loss of Internet connections! Those on the ground are in the game now as well....it's really quite ridiculous some of the stuff coming out.

The animals in all the zoos are on the loose!

You're another one. You've posted videos from Iranian anti-Semitic news media to prove your claims against Ukraine, and now, apparently, are poo pooing photographs from stupid Russian soldiers who are taking selfies of themselves in Ukraine.

This does not compute.

....aaaand half of Russian military followed them to the border, took over Crimea and forced Ukrainians to become "separatists"

Just watch for "Igors" to show up in your neighborhood and ask Putin for "liberation" of Russian speaking drunks.

FYI... ‘Radio Free Europe’:

... is under the Broadcasting Board of Governors..... an independent federal agency ‘of the United States government’ responsible for supervising all U.S. government-supported, civilian international media.

The BBG has 3,592 employees and a budget of US$733 million as of 2014..... solicits annual funding ‘from Congress’ via a proposed budget summary, which can be found on the BBG website.

Congress has been fighting to dump the Board because of the dismal reporting, management etc. of these stations worldwide.

Kates SHOULD know that Strelkov is an admitted KGB/FSB officer.

If he doesn’t, he should be fired or sent to Estonia for a year as punishment.

This Russian cheering squad will never admit what Russians and Putin are doing. Eyewitness reports, US military leaders assessments, photos, videos, audios, mass graves, dead across eastern Ukraine, Russian military personnel admissions, media reports, Russian missiles and artillery shells, Russian tanks and Grads, and more are all fictitious, the Russians are victims and no where near Ukraine.

Russian rebels are selectively executing Christians of Protestant churches in Ukraine, but in the Putinista’s eyes the rebels will still be Russian freedom fighters, heroes. Piss on the lot of them, they have all made themselves well known here at FR.
