The White House is reportedly weighing unilateral steps President Obama could take to defer the deportation of anywhere from 550,000 to 4.4 million of immigrants living in the U.S., a move that would be sure to infuriate Republicans.
According to the Wall Street Journal, top White House officials have discussed the potential for executive action in a series of meetings with stakeholders who support such a move, including faith leaders and immigrant advocates and some lawmakers.
Two possibilities under discussion would protect people who have U.S. citizen children, the paper reports. Extending protection, and perhaps work permits, to anyone who has children who are legal U.S. citizens (usually because they were born here) could exempt about 4.4 million people from deportation, according to statistics from the National Foundation for American Policy. A more limited path would be to just include parents of children who have been accepted into the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. Those children fall within a particular age range and length of residence in the U.S., so the number of parents is estimated at 550,000 to 1.1 million.

He certainly is TALKING a lot about this. I wonder why he is mouthing off so much? Does he want to be impeached? Does he want to be stopped? Does he just want the credit for trying? It is very odd.

There is absolutely nothing on the horizon that will stop the flood of scummy illegals invading our Republic.
If it is as you say, a bridge too far. what the heck do you think will happen?? Answer -- absolutely nothing.
These illegal criminals know our Republic is being destroyed -- they are more than happy to help bring about its destruction.
In 2017, Boehner will still be a traitorous SOTH and McConnell will likely be a useless leader too.
The only thing that will change will be a further acceleration of our Republic's destruction.
It is truly checkmate for our Republic.
And something that isn’t receiving a lot of attention, I don’t think, but that is at least as important a consideration as anything—the precedent. This will establish that the United States of America is ‘wide open.’ Having to repeat ‘65 in ‘86 was bad enough. But if we do it again, the world concludes: “The mighty Americans can’t even control their own border.”
It is truly checkmate for our Republic.
Okay, so what are you doing about it?
I have called and berated Congressional staffers over our treasonous Congress. I am convinced they laugh at their constituents.
I fear there is nothing that can be done to stop the destruction of our Republic.
I have written in the past how States hold the key to a peaceful rollback of the Federal government. I am too tired to reiterate it now.
To be brief, we do need Governors with a true Warrior for Liberty mindset -- one or more who are fearless in standing up to the evil Federal Leviathan.
Sadly, Perry and ALL other governors are extremely weak and contemptible human beings.
The Governors have the power to act but they are too weak to risk 1/1,000,000 of what the Founders put on the line.
