Bachmann: ‘We Saw Border Processing, Not Border Security’

Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.), recently returned from a trip to the Southwest border, says no one is being turned away:

“We saw border processing, not border security,” Bachmann said in a news release describing her trip to Brownsville, McAllen and Laredo.

“While the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Agency performs admirably on a daily basis, their purpose has become people processing -- not stopping foreign nationals from unauthorized entry into the U.S.

“Currently, not one person who attempts to come into the country is stopped; instead, they are taken to a processing center before a decision is made if they will be allowed to stay,” she added.

Bachmann blames President Barack Obama for the thousands of unaccompanied minors from Central America and other illegal aliens who are pouring across the border:

“Everywhere we went, the response was virtually the same: This is a crisis of President Obama’s own making,” she said. "The real problem is the President’s lack of political will to enforce the laws on the books and do whatever it takes to secure our border."

I don’t know why the illegals aren’t just crossing at the regular crossings. They’re going to get a free pass anyway.

And of course the little people don’t get to see any pics or videos of the situation. We just need to trust when the government does something in secret until, of course, the administration is republican.

A country that doesn’t protect its borders is asking to be invaded. And that is part of how Obastard wants to destroy the country.

Republicans should come out with a unanimous statement that says the following:

1. Obama does not have the authority to suspend US immigration laws or to fail to enforce the border. In fact, it is a breach of his oath of office to neglect those duties.

2. Those poor deluded souls who are taken in by Obama's lies and unauthorized action cannot be made legal by Obama, for the simple reason that Obama cannot make himself the legislature of the US. Only Congress can pass laws. Nothing Obama does can allow them to stay permanently; he can only delay their date of departure. He can forgive their illegal entry in the past; he cannot make them legal residents in the future.

3. If the American people give Republicans control of both houses of Congress in 2014, Congress will stand with the American people and will pass laws restricting Obama's ability to destroy America's sovereignty, whether that includes funding or making his actions illegal. Congress will bring votes to override any vetoes he may make.

4. If the American people give Republicans control of the White House in 2016, Republicans will enforce the border and all our laws. The illegals who are relying on Obama's temporary lawlessness will find that their legal status will be addressed under our actual laws by a President who takes his oath to our Constitution seriously, and will not be able to rely on promises that were not Obama's to make.

Unfortunately, Republicans like Boner are not against what Obama is doing, and so, instead of doing the right thing, are doing no thing. It is sad when you consider what a massive landslide would happen if the RNC were not out there fighting its base, and not Obama.

The only thing deadlier than Ebola is being a doctor or a nurse under this regime who treats an immigrant with Ebola and does not keep quiet about it.

Except that instead of hard working, ambitions colonists, we are being invaded by blood-sucking leeches.

“A country that doesn’t protect its borders is asking to be invaded.”

And tens of thousands have accepted that invitation.

The situation reminds me of the guy who walked into a bar & grill and asks for a double bourbon.
“Twenty-five cents.” says the bartender. “Makers Mark.”

“How much is a steak?” asks the customer, after downing a few 25 cent bourbons.
The man behind the counter replies, “A dollar. It’s a Porterhouse and as thick as the NYC phone book.”

After enjoying the feast—it was as thick as a phone book—along with a large baked potato w/sour cream, butter, grilled asparagus and several more drinks, he says,

“Amazing! But I’ve got to ask: how do you stay in business serving up food at these prices? Are you the owner?”

“No, I’m not.” said the bartender. “He’s upstairs with my wife.”

So it’s something like that. The hired help can’t stand the employer, so he’s giving it all away.
