Despite rising prices, power today is still considerably cheaper than it was long, long ago. Would you care to guess how much power cost in 1925? It cost $0.14/KWH back then, which must have seemed a fortune.

Sorry, I misread the bill. Power was 0.125/KWH, still a lot back then.

The bill says 12.5 cents, not 14. You may have confused usage with price.
