Congressman Louie Gohmert (TX-01) joined Gibson with the latest on Obama’s plan of granting amnesty to illegals. Gohmert told Gibson that some of the illegal immigrants are admitting that they are not fleeing gang violence but are paying gang members to sneak them in illegally into America.
On stopping Obama’s agenda, Gohmert said when A President is completely lawless it is time to shut down funding to anyone who will act illegally. We must use the powers of the purse granted by the constitution to reign in Obama.

Didn’t the House approve a continuing resolution through the end of the year? If so, any bill the House passes to defund will never see the floor of the Senate.

Words well spoken by Representative Gohmert but words are cheap. The people want to see some action. Besides, if Obemba does allow amnesty then it is already too late.

How would his executive order override existing immigration law? He has no authority to to legalize illegal aliens.
I imagine he could just say the ICE would not chase them or deport them, de-facto giving them amnesty of some sort.
He cannot make them citizens and he cannot “legalize” them.
Just do it already!
