It depends on whose money you’re spending. If you’re burning someone elses you can be all layed back , cool, and mellow. If you’re spending your own money, as I do, then you can either run a tight ship or watch your boat slowly sink. And if it’s not important then why did the meeting get called? If one of my helpers is late they know they’d better have a bloody bandage on or somebody’s death certificate in their hand. Busted truck parts will sometimes work if they’re still warm. Knowing where you are and where you need to be is part of a skill set that will usually keep you in a job long-term.

Putin HATES Obama.
Obama HATES Putin
A wider war may come out of this.

I suppose Obama does hate Putin because Putin easily bests him at every turn, making him look like an idiot.

OTOH, I doubt Putin hates Obama. Who can hate the rube at the card game that makes everyone else rich? You don't respect him, but you sure don't want him to go away, at least not until you've totally tapped him out.

Putin knows if Obama stays at the helm, there's two more years of humiliating defeat for the US and easy victories for him. Should Obama leave the table, the next guy won't be so naïve.

Napolean had a saying about stupid leaders - "Never interrupt your enemy while he's making a mistake"

A close friend took a drink every time Obie used first person pronouns at the last State of the Union address. Friend got so wasted, he missed work the next day. And his wife wanted to kill him.

Obama said ...”Africa is world’s next major economic success story”.

His speech was piped to Africa so of course “community organizing” them.

Tweet from a Russian Media account I’ve been following:

“The US and the West are treading dangerous ground now. Sanctions designed to destabilize a country is an act of war. Russia is a superpower”

I don’t this is going to go down well. Every action gets a reaction, which is how Obama walked us into this mess in the first place.
***********************

“...which is how Obama walked us into this mess in the first place.”

Yep, he and State Dept/CIA did just that.

Colossal bad move, as has been every foreign “policy” decision from this administration.

Obama is spewing more soundbites and sanctions; Obama and Putin doubling down. Obama adm want to win the PR war now; Russia will make certain the US pays later.

BTW: Porcupine-hair head sounded oddly disengaged-— like a bad news reader. He is content to be managed-— totus obligations, hand-picked-audience “public” appearances to gin up the base, fundraise, golf, and vacation. Obama’s handlers have the helm...with his consent.

.......”It didn’t have to come to this,” Obama says. “This is a choice that Russia and President Putin has made.”.....

He quickly forgets it’s his pen and phone making things happen.....and he’s alienating every national leader by his inability to handle the situation he’s got US in.

Obama said...”It is about Russia recognizing Ukraine can chart its own path [the one WE have laid out for Ukraine].

.....” Obama’s handlers have the helm...with his consent”....

No doubt...and some heavy stakes are being played behind the scenes....with no regard for the lives these decisions will make.... Crimea will be the end game...that’s next.

Yep, he and State Dept/CIA did just that.

No one here has fully explained how the State Dept/CIA got those thousands of Ukrainians to protest in the street.

We had a new Director of Engineering who was an Annapolis grad and Navy Seal....

I knew an executive who would have a weekly meeting in the conference room without any chairs. Amazing how fast business could get done when the blowhards feel the pain of dragging a meeting on and on.

What got the Ukrainians to protest renewed Soviet . . . I mean Russian rule through their puppet was the memory of 7 million dead Ukrainians from starvation under previous Russian rule.

I’m just getting to this thread...

You missed a lot absolutely nothing.

That's nobama, absolutely nothing.

It simply makes me chuckle. 99% of FR is devoted to how inept and clueless our Administration is. But with regard to the Sov, er, Russians . . . they are diabolical, cunning masterminds.

“No one here has fully explained how the State Dept/CIA got those thousands of Ukrainians to protest in the street. “

True... I haven’t seen that explained on FR, and it is an explanation that begs to be documented for Freeper review.

I am in the middle of a move but will try to post documentation in next few days and ping to you.

Agree sir, neither the modern CIA nor the Administration could lead a horse to water. It is certain they could not manipulate a nation. A few young impressionable children, yes. A nation, they would not have a notion.

Nations leaders have people on the ground who interact with the locals before a planned demonstration, during and after...these are monitored... especially if it's in a nation where leadership change is desired.

When the time comes where they desire to boost these demonstrations teams of "Trained" individuals (usually young activists) go in...they align with the local leadership of these demonstrations with money in hand to support them and dangle any carrots needed....from gov. sponsorship to actual leadership visitation.

Things move pretty quickly after that.....generally the local people are by then ready to be led.

If you note in the Gaza demonstrations recently, one of the IDF soldiers said that the Arab elders were trying to calm the youth down, but was noted that EU activists wanted them to riot all the more. Often times these will be people with megaphones...or yelling the loudest.

Same with Ukraines Maidan......the crowds would have not become violent as we saw, without those who assumed control to push through to the government buildings and face down the police trying to maintain calm. Even Maidan demonstrators reported they were being taken over.

Crowds are easily led...that's why they send teams to various countries. And you always see then the nation leaders begin to “visit” and visually support the demonstrations....all carefully timed when they know the tipping point has come.

I followed one team who went into Syria to work the crowds...their next stop was Turkey as things began to grow there....
