This is the first time that the United States has not supported Israel at the United Nations. It is surprising that in the Obama presidency, with all of Obama’s obvious hostility toward Israel, that it has taken this long. It is unlikely to be the last time that this happens.

Security Council, where it succeeded for more than five years in blocking successive efforts by the Palestinians to gain more of the trappings of an independent state and to get the world body to formally censure Israeli settlement policies.
That changed after the stroke of midnight Sunday when, in the early minutes of Monday, July 28, the U.N. Security Council, with the backing of the United States, issued a formal “presidential statement” demanding that Israel and Hamas implement an “immediate and unconditional” cease-fire to end fighting that has left more than 1,000 Palestinians and 43 Israelis dead. The Palestinians say they will continue to seek Security Council support for a legally enforceable resolution demanding that Israel halt its military offensive in Gaza.

The U.N. has been demanding Israel call a ceasefire for over a week now. It didn’t even bother calling on Hamas to stop it’s atrocities until after Israel put it’s foot down and started military action in response.
The U.N. has thus forfeited it’s standing. It’s a Hamas run organization for all intents and purposes. The U.N. is a terrorist supporting organization.
F the U. N. Who gives a damn what it says. Kick the livin’ sh— out of the organization until it limps off U. S. soil.
Damn right, there’s a reason Obama visited New York city Manhattan 2 -3 times a week for fundraisers while running for 1st and 2nd terms, because of all the self hating Jews there. I was driving a taxi in between jobs when he was first running and use to get into arguments with them all the time, it was just absolutely unreal - Like Jews supporting Nazis. That’s how effed up in the head liberalism makes people. I’m so glad I moved the hell out of there, I hate that city with a passion and I grew up there. Just one bottomless pit of liberal scum.
