JOHN BOEHNER DOES NOT MENTION IMMIGRATION IN OP-ED ON OBAMA LAWSUIT
Breitbart ^ | 7/28/14 | MATTHEW BOYLE

Posted on 07/28/2014 6:07:34 PM PDT by jimbo123

President Obama is practically shouting from the rooftops that he's about to grant a new unilateral amnesty to as many as six million illegal aliens, but the topic of immigration does not come up in a new op-ed from Speaker John Boehner explaining his lawsuit against Obama for lawlessness.

In the op-ed, Boehner explains why he chose to focus the lawsuit only on Obamacare.

“On the advice of legal experts, the House action will focus on his decision to extend--twice--the deadline to institute the employer mandate in his healthcare law,” Boehner wrote. “We believe this targeted lawsuit offers the best chance of success.”

In the op-ed, Boehner mentioned other issues in which he thinks Obama has acted outside the bounds of the law--but he ignored immigration, and specifically the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.

This John Boehner won't stop Obama's administrative mass amnesty scheme?

Keep it focused. The immigration thing is very recent and ongoing. Strike at the root, which is his whole pattern of behavior, starting with the already accomplished and documented acts that have identifiable people with standing to sue.

Preparing a suit on the immigration issue would mean going back to square one, by which time he will already be out of office.

We need him stopped now.

Boehner’s lawsuit is kabuki theatre to buy time for Obama to legalize 8 million illegal aliens. You’re touting the same talking points as the chamber of commerce.

Exactly. The amnesty pimps only want a lawsuit on Obamacare so Obama can grant administrative mass amnesty without any barriers from the House.

It’s just theater from the Obama-Boehner Axis.

Where in OH are the people yearning for these “migrants” to come and stay permanently? Certainly not at the Boehner house

OH people haven’t chosen anyone much good since Robert Taft, Sr., and he had his flaws. Also John Ashbrook, who opposed Nixon. I understand they do have a good congressman named Jordan though.

So the #3 guy in the US Government, who happens to be in control of a Separate but Equal branch of Government, which has the Power to Impeach,IMPRISON and Defund anything or everything it so chooses, is going to ask another Separate but Equal Branch of Government to ?Decide? who’s right.
How frikkin pathetic.

Boehner and his fellow RINOs are democrats to the core. Nothing that Obama or democrats do in lawlessness is worthy of any verbal or actual action by them. Supporting any of them is simply voting democrat.

Part of why we are here is because "Blame Bush" didn't cull the RINO/Democrat herd when he took office.
It was the biggest mistake he made for the future of Conservatism. Now we start over.

I do not think that the DNC would fund a Conservative, but the GOP would fund a RINO-leftist.

>>Defunding major portions of this administration will.<<

The budget is already passed for this year. Defunding is not an option until next year.

On the other hand, if the Supreme Court takes up the lawsuit and finds for the plaintiffs, Obama’s actions could be reversed. The employer mandate, which Obama very much wants to see delayed, would take effect immediately if the Court rules his delay an unconstitutional move. Ditto for all the other changes he’s unilaterally made to the law as written.

All adding immigration would do is confuse the issue while giving Obama and the Dems more ammo to convince Hispanics that the GOP is out to get them. Better to let the immigration situation play out as it is now, because Americans are starting to wake up to the fact that the administration has way overplayed its hand lately.

Why would Boehner want to include the immigration mess in a lawsuit that has a decent chance of winning?

Does it not strike you as a questionable strategy to mount a suit that, if you win, you get what you don't want?

The idea of the House suing the President is bad enough. But creating a situation where, if you win, the people lose seems absolutely absurd.

While Boehner is supposedly filing a “winning” Obamacare suit, you will be on the sidelines watching Obama give 8 million illegal aliens permanent legal status and work authorization without any interference from the GOP. But that’s the plan, right?
