US fuming over Israeli criticism of Kerry

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Obama administration pushed back strongly Monday at a torrent of Israeli criticism over Secretary of State John Kerry's latest bid to secure a cease-fire with Hamas, accusing some in Israel of launching a "misinformation campaign" against the top American diplomat.

"It's simply not the way partners and allies treat each other," State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki said.

Her comments were echoed by the White House, where officials said they were disappointed by Israeli reports that cast Kerry's efforts to negotiate a cease-fire as more favorable to Hamas.

"Israel has no better friend, no stronger defender than John Kerry," said Tony Blinken, President Barack Obama's deputy national security adviser. He said the criticism of Kerry was based on "people leaking things that are either misinformed or attempting to misinform."

"It's simply not the way partners and allies treat each other," State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki said.

And yet they were silent about Kerry getting wanded and metal detected in Egypt?

Do the occupants at the White House and State Department understand that Israel is at war with Hamas? A real war.

This isn’t a border skirmish or bogus uprising (Ukraine) funded by others; it is Hamas being caught red-handed with tunnels under Israel land to be used to attack Israel; sending thousands of missiles indiscriminately into Israel; and basically trying to destroy Israel.

Kerry is without a clue and is simply following the orders of his boss who, when push comes to shove, favors the Muslim position (even if terrorists) over Israel every time. (Hard to even look at Kerry with all that bad plastic surgery. What a narcissist!)

The US public gets it and is strongly behind Israel.

Finish the job this time and get Hamas out of Gaza and the Palestinian leadership before ceding Gaza again.

Keep your own council Israel, if Kerry is the best they
can do.

Ms. Psaki: The Israelis think Kerry is a doofus, and that you’re a twit. So do I.

Kerry is a screw up as SoS. He cannot keep his messages straight and seems unable to focus on the real issue: Hamas is firing rockets and building tunnels in preparation for attacks on Israel. It seems as though this is all to complicated for our John Forbes Kerry.
As the true narcissist he is, I bet he called to complain to the WH about the coverage he is receiving and he demanded that BHO call and complain.

Why balk when Kerry is against Israel, when he threw our own military under the bus?

The infamous "Do you know who I am?", "I served in Vietnam","I threw my medals over the WH fence (only they weren't the real thing.)" Kerry.

John has a lot of trouble with what is the real thing.

I think while in Israel, John should spend at least 24 hours where Hamas rockets are coming down. Just as a little reality check.

By ‘US’, I guess they mean that claque of sophomoric dilitants that ‘run’ our foreign policy. They’re just butt-hurt because what they imagine as profound insight is seen - and called out - by Israel as the puerile nonsense that it is.

It’s called “cognitive dissonance”.

Jen Psaki just cannot see the irony of the words she spoke for public record. If she had the least amount of critical thinking or introspection, she would resign before saying that out loud.

Vladimir Putin is more likely to step in on behalf of Israel than the Current Regime. If only to tweak the noses of the Turks, and let Iran know they are not all-powerful.

But then, Putin looks at this differently. Russia does not have friends, they only have allies of convenience.
