Headline Drudge: PLANE RIDE AWAY FROM USA
Link at drudge to a USA Today story.

That’s what I heard reported, but Fox and CNN are not reporting the death:

Yes , it is and can be spread from human to human. I doubt it’s survival rate and transmission rate here in Canada.
Also, relative to African cultures, we are very different.
Our cultural habits will grossly affect its transmission. You can see this in the aids stats when you compare Africa to America/ Canada.... and YES! WE got that too from Africa!
Ah, I see Drudge has been reading our posts for that headline.
This from the same folks who said SARS and H1Nwhatever wouldn't jump species.
Glad to see there is someone else who knows about Prof. Pianka. To think he teaches this to his students. Of course, he’s not positioned himself at the front of the extermination line.
The infected doctor's wife and kids just flew back to the US a couple days ago. The wife worked in the hospital delivering meals to patients.
Some of you might know this but Ebola has been here in the United States before; Reston, Va. We were lucky that time.

Was that “The Andromeda Strain”?........................
You think Michelle might dress up Obama in one of those Bee Keeper outfits this week? He’ll be face to face with a multitude of African Leaders for a conference. It would be ‘most unfortunate’ were he to catch some sort of bug...... Wouldn’t it?
Dr. Eric Pianka should team up with Princeton Professor of Ethics Peter Singer. Singer believes in selective infanticide, or ending a life after the child has been born.
Yup, but there’s nothing you can do about it, so relax. You’d either die vomiting black bile as part of a species ending plague, or you won’t. Probably won’t... unless you do.
GEEZ. So where the he’ll do they live???
Obama’s gonna love this.
Dr. Kent Brantly’s, who’s family just flew back a few days ago, lives in Ft. Worth, TX. He has family in Indiana who were expecting him for a wedding.

Fort Worth, TX and Indiana? I wonder if going to the wedding meant a short layover in Chicago?
From your article:
“Nigeria’s airports and ports are on red alert following the death of a man from Liberia who was carrying the virus. It was the first case in Africa’s most populous country.
He vomited and had a high fever on board a passenger plane, and was immediately quarantined upon arrival in the capital Lagos.
He died in hospital on Friday.”
I fly a lot and people throw up quite often on airplanes.
Probably not vomit laden with ebola virus particles though.
And how well do you think this plane and its bathroom were cleaned/disinfected before it flew on to subsequent destinations?
I hope not since one time they threw up on me.
Vomit is treated as a biohazard but certainly not good enough for this stuff.
