At the Television Critics Association conference on July 22, PBS and “American Experience" announced it will produce and broadcast a new biography focused on Walt Disney. “Walt Disney” will be a four-hour, two-night film focused on the life of the American icon. The biography will premiere in fall 2015.

Disney rose to prominence in the 30’s/40’s; the height of anti-semitism. So by the standards of his time he was saintly to many Jews...
as far as the PBS documentary; PBS is left wing while Walt Disney was a staunch conservative...i’m sure they will take as many shots as possible at Walt...
btw- if Disney is an anti-semite because he drew caricatures of Jews, wouldn’t that make all the writers and actors of a series such as the Soprano’s as anti-Italian as it gets???
I know what you’re trying to say re Walt was “an ordinary man who accomplished extraordinary things,” but let’s be real: he was a genius, not truly “ordinary.” And I don’t mean a genius as a cartoonist - which I don’t think anybody claims — but in his vision, imagination, and ability to organize and lead creative projects.
I know....you better hire one quickly!!
