CNN Poll: Romney tops Obama but loses to Clinton
CNN ^ | 7/27/2014

If a rematch of the 2012 presidential election were held today, GOP nominee Mitt Romney would top President Barack Obama in the popular vote, according to a new national survey.

But a CNN/ORC International poll also indicates that if Romney changes his mind and runs again for the White House, Hillary Clinton would best him by double digits in a hypothetical showdown.

The survey, released Sunday morning, also suggests that more Americans see Clinton as a strong and capable leader than those who feel the same way about Obama. But Clinton's numbers on five personal characteristics have slightly edged down the past few months.

And the poll points to a jump the past month in support among Republicans for New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and Texas Gov. Rick Perry.

After Clinton beat H.W. Bush in 1992 and the Reagan/Bush years were done, Romney reregistered Republican in October of 1993, deciding that he would enter elective politics as a Republican instead of democrat.

In his more than 20 years of running, he has won a single election, didn’t reach 50% in that, and after polling for reelection, he gave up that dream and left office with 34% approval, and after 4 republican governors in a row, he turned Massachusetts over to a democrat.

People voted for someone because his skin is black, why not vote for someone because they have a vagina. It’s just as stupid.

Well, that settles it: Hillary is inevitable. Figures, too, given the incredible job she did as Secretary of State.

Run Liz Run.

Possible scenario: The far left of the Dem party, as they did in 1972, swings the nomination to the most left-wing candidate in this case Lizzie Warren.

Warren gets clobbered in the General.

METHODOLOGY

A total of 1,012 adults were interviewed by telephone nationwide by live interviewers calling both landline and cell phones.

All respondents were asked questions concerning basic demographics, and the entire sample was weighted to reflect national Census figures for gender, race, age, education, region of country, and telephone usage.

Among the entire sample, 32% described themselves as Democrats, 24% described themselves as Republicans, and 44% described themselves as Independents or members of another party.

76% neo-communist or in the closet.

Not buying a word of it.

Never been polled once. I’d have fun with them if I ever do.

I replied patiently to one telephone pollster’s questions back in 2011. He must have figured out I was conservative, I could tell he was unhappy with most of my responses, so he paused and actually asked me if I “cried when McCain lost.”
I told him to f*** himself sideways & the interview was concluded.
You don’t really believe polling is straight up do you?

Not only that, but for the life of me, I can’t see why anybody would think Romney would make a good president.

“For the life of me, I can’t understand why any person would think Hildabeast would make a good elected official in any capacity.”

You do know, as we all do. It's because the Democrats have 1) done a great job inciting and exploiting class, gender, and race divisions, and 2) been able to effectively shift the voting demographics in enough states to make them competitive in any Presidential race.

Honestly, some in the Republican party understand that the only way to nullify this without essentially becoming a Democrat is to put up candidates that divide the Democrats coalition. That's why there is so much emphasis on Republicans with a Hispanic background. Personally, I would absolutely love to see Benjamin Carson run. First of all, he's qualified, principled, and he's very bright. I hate thinking the way Democrats do, and I abhor racial and gender politics, but he would likely peel away some of the African American base from the Democrats. Further, he would possibly attract some of the traditional liberal academic crowd. Anyway, running Romney again would be a huge mistake.

Can Romney beat Romney? Every pronouncement since he lost has convinced me he would have been a major disappointment.

CNN got one thing right.

Turn out is the key in 2014.

Nationally, the Democrats have enough legal voters to stop the Republicans from gaining a Senate majority.

If the Democrats can figure out how to get their non-white voters to the polls, we will come up 2 to 4 seats short in the Senate.
