A young Ukrainian has prompted widespread outrage after posing in make-up apparently looted from the crash site of Malaysian Airlines flight MH17.

Ekaterina Parkhomenko, who describes herself as a ‘separatist’ from the eastern region of the country, posted images of herself on Instagram along with the claim that she was wearing make-up ‘from the field’ – hinting the products were taken from the same area where the bodies of victims of the plane crash lay.

‘Mascara from Amsterdam, or rather from the field. Well, I think you know what I mean,’ she reportedly wrote on her social media page, before deleting the message.

She added: ‘An acquaintance of mine, a looter, gave it to me.’

You actually attempted to justify the robbing of the Dead on this site.

I did not. Take a breath.

So , letting shooting down commercial airplanes on purpose and celebrating it until Putin tells you to delete your post then stealing the black boxes from a crash site and then robbing your murder victim and then letting there bodies rot in open fields is not evil in your world.

Hey. your Russian so move back to that Police state and stop posting your lies here !

Give your Putin BS a rest tonight.

Your side murdered 295 people including 80 kids and rob them and let them rot in a field and got away with it.

You and your fellow KGB cheerleaders enjoy the blood bath you tried to justify here.

I’m definitely not on Putin’s side.
Neither am I backing Nato to prop up a failed state (Ukraine).
Let the people in Ukraine sort it out.

Yanukovich got into power through reactive votes. After the global financial crises a lot of weird people got into power. You are not happy about Obama, but think about the French ... they got Hollande.

What Yanukovich went on to do was to abolish the constitution of 2004, that 90% of the MP-s had voted for. He succeeded in this using his mafia tactics and corrupt judges. Ukrainian people should have taken him down right there, but unlike Americans the wide masses don’t understand the importance of the constitution there.

Yanukovich gave an election promise of making the free trade deal with EU. Then, under pressure from Putin, he went 180 on this. Peaceful protests gathered. To address this he passed a law making protesting against him illegal. Also several other laws making it clear that Ukraine has had their last free election and is now entering President for Life stage.

People of Ukraine were full within their rights to stand up to this. Yanukovich was elected to president of a state where the power is at the hands of the prime minister and wanted to end his term as de facto dictator. You would not let this happen in America and it is wrong to demand that Ukrainians should just suck it up and kiss their freedom goodbye.

I have a Ukrainian sister in law. When she moved here we went out of our way to be helpful. We helped her get a job, a house, free vacations, free child care, etc. Not once did she thank us. Every day she told us how everything in the Ukraine was better, cars, phones, computers, bathrooms, restaurants, housing, once she even said Mexican food was better over there. One day she turned on us and told us we were jealous of her and her husband and everything they owned (partly through our goodwill). I will not speak to them any more.
If everyone in the Ukraine is like this beast of a sister in law I have no intention of offering support. I can understand why this vile woman is looting. They are too messed up from being an ex-commie country.

Why didn’t they wait for the election, is wasn’t that far away?
Is Europe or the EU going to provide them with energy? The EU buys a lot from Russia, will they re-sell it at a loss to a country with no foreign reserves? The Ukrainian currency is almost worth nothing.
I understand that the Ukraine is basically run by about five families of oligarchs who own everything, how will closer ties to the EU help? The EU has enough financial problems without burdening themselves with a country whose debt is almost as big as the rest of Europe?
Just asking, don’t shoot the messenger.

The Ukrainians can blame themselves for the mess they are in. No matter how bad their President was they voted him in to power, they removed him unconstitutionally (they didn’t have the correct number of votes from their lawmakers).

That's stupid, he wasn't removed at all. He fled to a foreign enemy after even his own party turned on him after the mass shootings.

Now we have a civil war going on in Eastern Europe and the rest of the world is slowly being dragged into it.

That's also stupid, a civil war doesn't consist of more than half the corpses being from Russia.

So you just don't like Ukrainians, and that's why you're criticizing them for not agreeing to die by their duly elected "president"? It all makes sense now.

That you have just said is a stereotypical perception of Ukraine in Russia. The whole nation is living on Russian taxpayers’ dime via different aid programs, yet they are trashing Russians, calling names and threatening to put NATO bases on their border and obstruct gas transit to Europe if said aid is not enough this time. There is a special form of humor in Russian folklore aka ‘Ukrainian jokes’ featuring greedy thankless individual.
