40th Anniversary of Nixon’s Resignation - August 9, 1974

For decades we have been subjected to a journalistic feeding frenzy every five years to celebrate the anniversary of the resignation of Richard M. Nixon.

We are now two weeks and a day from the fortieth anniversary of President Nixon’s resignation on August 9, 1974. But, as we know in 2014, compared to what the Democrats will excuse in any Democrat, Richard Nixon was pure as the wind-driven snow.

I suggest that it is time to celebrate Nixon’s refusal to put the country through a crisis, first by declining to contest JFK’s razor-thin victory amid allegations of irregularities in significant states in 1960, and then by declining to fight to the bitter end in 1974.

Which is easier to believe - that Nixon’s secretary accidentally erased an 18-minute segment of a tape while being distracted by a confusing phone call, or that 19 IRS hard drives (“less than twenty,” according to the government) all crashed at the same time and were (illegally) recycled while there was (also illegally) no backup anywhere?

Watergate was a teenage prank compared to what is happening in DC today.

It was really a coup, plain and simple.

The big difference between then and now is the question “who’s going to jail?” was answered in spades back then. Now it’s not even asked. I also believe that no mater what they did, even adjusted for inflation, the Nixon administration people didn’t earn squat compared to what the current bunch of creeps bring home in money and benefits now.

Nixon resigning over what seems to be spilled milk today as compared to all the BS the current occupant of the WH pulls on a daily basis, but that’s our communist propaganda machine posing as our fair and impartial media for you.

JFK’s victory led to the end of the United States, Eisenhower’s veep should have challenged the results.

Without the 60s, and Vietnam, and unionizing government and the 1965 Immigration Act, we would still be America.

The nation owes a huge apology to Richard Nixon AND EVEN BILL CLINTON for what was done to them in contrast to the crimes and treasonous acts committed and by B. Hussein that are ignored today.

This is when the communists Joe McCarthy warned us about started coming into power, and gee whiz, look how good things worked out. Not only do we have a commie as President, but a commie in virtually every other political office in the US. Remember when commies use to be lambasted as much as Nazis? Not anymore. Democrats can’t even run a middle of the road candidate nowadays they are so infected.

I think that’s another one of the reasons Bubba hates Obamas guts, because he gets away with all this crap. What needs to go above all else besides Obama, is Congress as well. They are just as culpable as this treasonous piece of rat slime. They know damn well what he is all about but they refuse to do anything while Rome burns and he plays his fiddle.

Did you know that Bill Clinton was impeached, disbarred and found in contempt of court while president? The press doesn’t ever mention it, so I don’t blame you if you don’t.

I would argue that JFK's death, benefitting LBJ was the end of the United States. In any event, the 60-64 years were the tell-tale years.

“Nixon is owed a huge apology.”

An apology is not enough. The Congress should have been pinning medals on Nixon and his entire staff.

They all were trying to keep a known-communist out of the White House.

Clinton and Nixon actually became fairly close in Nixon’s final days.

One thing Nixon doesn’t get enough credit for is for literally saving Israel in 1973, Golda Meir basically admitted that if not for Nixon, Israel may very well had lost that war.

The big difference, too, is that many Republicans did not support Nixon when his involvement was revealed. And a significant number would have voted to impeach and remove him. The Demonrats proved they would not vote to remove a lying Bill Clintion; similarly, they would never vote to remeove the Obamanation no matter how egregious his offenses.

LBJ other than having much to do with the death of JFK was perhaps the most evil human being that has ever lived bar none.

LBJ single handed was responsible for affirmative action, the great society and many, many useless American deaths in VN.

JFK had already prior to his and Jackie's Dallas trip. I was decided that LBJ was to be dumped from JFK's next election campaign.

This was reinforced by his brother Bobby who had told JFK, that he would not serve with LBJ in the next term.
